Sidetracked

This is a song about the ghost of a civil war general that was so caught up in his love for the war and fighting that he forgot to spend what little time he did have with his wife and kids. He regrets the way his life ended and wishes he could change it, but in the end he knows he can't, and it saddens him.

The General

This is a song about a homeless man who once had it easy in life, but fell into a pit when he started to drink and gamble with his money. This is a tale of his downfall but also his recovery. 

Life of the Impecunious

This is a song about a bunch of kids that spend the night in a catacomb, they become scared at first and are constantly worried, but eventually they become comfortable. This is similar how I feel in a new situation (like a new job, or a new school) at first I am terrified but eventually I become comfortable. 

A Night of the Macabre in the Crypt

This is a story filled with my memories of my hometown, Kalamazoo.
