Nina Eba is DJ, musician and soundproducer based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Сo-founder of GRVGRV music formation. The dance floor fucker and fairy babe.

"My path began in childhood, I loved to sing and dreamed of becoming a singer and learning to play the violin. In the second grade, we were taken to a music school for a demonstration concert, the purpose of which was to attract new students. I was shocked, the kids were playing musical instruments. And I still haven't? 

Immediately after the concert, I went to a local teacher and signed up for the violin. And in the evening I just confronted my parents with this fact. But my mother didn't like the violin, so they told me to go to piano lessons.

I was very lucky, because in our school there was an unrealistically cool improvisation teacher who taught many children how to write music, including me. At 12 I wrote my first play, then sad teenage songs about love began. For several years in a row I went to regional competitions for young composers and won. I really wanted to go to a music school, but my parents said that I was under 18 and they could decide for me.

After the breakup of several bands, I thought, fuck it, it's so difficult to keep these wars of the ego of unrealized musicians under control. I started writing electronic music in Ableton, wrote demos for an album ... Suddenly. Someone robbed my apartment, took away the laptops on which all the projects were. Since then, I have become much less writing music. I also started working as a music editor for Starlight Media, and this job takes a lot of my energy.

Circumstances brought me to DJing. I got into the community of burners and created my own art workshop "Papayka" in the Kurenivka Palace of Culture. All the time there were decks and a very cool Xone PX5. The equipment was right in front of me, and I decided to take advantage of it. At that time, I did not even have a laptop to download music, I asked my friend DJ to pump any music on my USB flash drive, and so I learned to mix on tracks that I had never heard.

There were two residents in the workshop who were doing GRVGRV parties at the time, and once they decided to make a party in our workshop. Of course, I asked to play with them. This time we had to look for music on our own, in addition, not any kind of deep house, because the guys from GRVGRV play jazz, soul, experimentalism and broken eclecticism. I really liked it, they liked me and so I joined their team ...

But as you know, there is such a thing - tolerance for unusual music, every time I want something more strange, with each set my selection became more and more wild. And then I remembered that I’m an anime woman and, in general, what’s the Japs have? I listened and fell in love. And then I found a Korean footwork and fell in love even more, and then I found the track 3ASiC - HHHHHHTTTTTTFFFFFF and realized myself and what I want to play - eastern ebanina!

Now I constantly digitize music from oriental producers, buy tracks of no-names on the bandcamp and of course share my findings with listeners not only on live sets. I have a telegram channel @ninaeba, where I sow musical pearls and small reviews of music, share event announcements and sometimes memes about the East."

Light Dreams is a live electronica/chillout Duo, based in Ukraine. 
Since the creation of the band, the musicians have toured extensively, participating in major Ukrainian and foreign festivals, from time to time creating collaborations with other musicians and bands. 
Band successfully manifesting itself at such major festivals as Koktebel Jazz Festival, Leopolis Jazz Festival, Atlas Weekend, Gogol Fest, and Vibronica Music Festival.
For all period Light Dreams released 5 EP ('Faces of Nature', 'Time for Spring', 'Moonlight',  'The Trip' and 'X-mas Eve')  as well as the joint album "Escape from Nebula" in collaboration with musicians from Latvia and Spain.
