LIGHT//SPEED is the brainchild of Sean Gretzky & Victor O'Phillips. After studying audio production & engineering in Toronto, both graduated with honors and began exploring the infinite possibilities of electronic music production. Both being multi-instrumentalists, it was a natural progression into the world of synthesizers, MIDI controllers and production software. Although usually based in the world of Electro, LIGHT//SPEED sets have been known to include a variety of sounds including minimal, moombahton, deep house, tropical bass and trap. In 2012 they landed a residency spot at the Mod Club in Toronto and have had a steady schedule playing various venues in and around the Toronto area. . Their first EP "SEIZURES" was released in August 2013. They have been invited to be the official DJs for the fashionEUPHORIA show for FAT 2013 (http://fashionarttoronto.ca/). They have also opened for EDM heavyweights Bass Kleph and Ashley Wallbridge on their latest stop in Toronto. It's been a slow progression to get to where they are now, but things are definitely heating up for this Toronto duo.


Afro-pop, hip hop artist John Orpheus is known for big pop sounds influenced by Caribbean soca and dancehall. In 2019 his album WEY YA CALL DAT TING? was a manifesto of sing alongs and dance floor heat. In 2021 he launches his new album SAGA BOY and is publishing a book by the same name on Penguin Random House. Big Tings a Gwan!
