Merry Christmas from everybody at MEOKO! It has been five years since we launched the podcast series and to celebrate, we will be releasing x5 special edition mixes from selected artists over the course of the next couple months starting with none other than Barac. After a long period of time at the top of his game, known for his intricate and high quality productions,on the likes of Pressure Traxx, Meander, and Midi Records. His intelligent and smooth sound is loved by many all over, whether moving the dancefloor in one of the best clubs in the world either mixing or one of his fantastic live sets, or it could be a lengthy journey on the beach in his native country Romania. There is something so special when this man enters the room with an ability to grasp the listener, allowing them to indulge in the variations of sound he has prepared. It is with our greatest pleasure, that we can offer you this tasty cut from Barac's set live from Robert Johnson, in Frankfurt, back in January 2016 for a Presure Traxx showcase. Famous for its intimate vibe, and incredible sound system, to nobody's suprise, Barac steps up to the occassion with low swung minimal grooves lifting the atmosphere, accompanied by his signature curious movements of abstract sounds adding to the story the Romanian is telling. Pressure Traxx are known for their ability to extend much further than what meets the eye, there is no 'same sound', and this is why the wizard we like call Barac fits the bill like no other. A steady motion in to the trip, whether listening in your house, walking to work, or driving in your car, you will be absorbed in to the sounds you are hearing gaining an insight to the tight knit intimacy of Robert Johnson, and what Barac had to offer on the night. There are a great deal of things you can say about Dan Snaith. His list of achievements would burnish any CV: a doctorate in mathematics under one arm, and some of the 21st century’s most celebrated electronica albums under the other. He manages to juggle festival headline slots across the world with the live iteration of Caribou, while slipping out timeless dancefloor burners and one of the last ever FabricLive CDs as Daphni. Oh, and he’s a super friendly guy too.

That experience – and crowd-charming magnetism – can be heard all over today’s Dekmantel Podcast, a three-hour tour de force of Daphni in peak-time mode at the peak of summer. Recorded on Sunday of Dekmantel Festival 2018, in the middle of a humble-superstar-sandwich of Jamie XX / Floating Points, Snaith glides between rave stabs, strutting funk, stirring soul, global grooves and everything else under the (very warm) sun. Light Blue File (Santiago Parodi) is part of a new generation of Argentinian artists who are steadily carving out an international reputation through their personal interpretation of underground electronic music. Born in Patagonia and now based in Buenos Aires, his sound is defined by hypnotic grooves, deep atmospheres and striking vocal edits that carry a distinctive sense of storytelling. Versatile and refined, Light Blue File feels equally at home warming up, driving peak hours, or closing after-hours sessions, always balancing precision with raw energy.

His musical journey began as a teenager experimenting with production and releasing on SoundCloud, Beatport and independent labels. By 2022, he closed a chapter under his former alias Santierri and embraced a more mature identity as Light Blue File, a project that rapidly gained recognition both locally and abroad. In 2024, he embarked on his first Europe Tour with dates in Paris, Ukraine, Marseille and Barcelona, setting the foundation for what was to come.

2025 marked a major breakthrough: an extensive tour across France, Spain, the UK, Morocco and Tunisia, with standout appearances alongside HearThuG and Voigtmann, and performances at iconic venues and festivals including Lion & Lamb (London), Cocoon (Tunisia), L’Envers (Marrakech) and Essaouira Supervibe (Morocco), plus an infiltration on Olympiad Festival line up, being invited to play by both HearThuG and the BinarySound Crew. During this period, he also collaborated with Occibel on an EP (PlayFool, 2025) and secured forthcoming vinyl releases on Are You Alien (HearThuG) and Subsequent (Voigtmann). His sets and productions have become regular fixtures across the global underground circuit, with HearThuG describing their B2B as one of his best in recent years, and Voigtmann naming him in a Houghton Festival interview as “a producer to watch.”

Currently, Light Blue File is preparing the launch of his own imprint, LBF Records, consolidating his vision as both an artist and curator. Standing at the forefront of a new Argentinian wave, he continues to bring local culture into dialogue with a wider international ecosystem — open, diverse, and collaborative.
