CONFUSION is an award-winning DJ, producer, and remixer with deep roots in the U.S. underground music scene. In 2025, he won the Future Funk Squad Remix Competition, earning a release on their UK label En:Vision, where he's currently signed alongside ElectroBreakz, Toast & Jam, and his own label, Funky Bat Records.

His journey began in 1996 after moving from Chicago to South Florida, where he emerged from the underground and quickly gained recognition. His first-ever drum & bass mix was voted #1 Best International Drum & Bass DJ Mix by Knowledge Magazine UK in 2000.

Known for his bass-heavy electro and funky breakbeat sets, CONFUSION also incorporates drum & bass and other genres when the vibe calls for it. His influences run deep, spanning Miami bass, 80s freestyle, heavy metal, alternative, Chicago blues, and funk—elements that fuel his high-energy, forward-thinking sets and productions.

A long-standing presence in North America’s dance music scene, CONFUSION has performed on key stages at Ultra Music Festival (Miami), Legendary Zen Festival (Miami), Era Fest (Tampa), Crystal Mountain Music Festival (Montana), and Shambhala Music Festival (Renegade – B.C., Canada). He’s also a regular favorite at Miami Music Week during the Winter Music Conference, while holding residencies at iconic venues from Seattle’s Fraktured to Orlando and South Beach. He has even played at the legendary Club Space in Miami, cementing his reputation as a DJ who can move any crowd.

In recognition of his impact, CONFUSION was honored by the NHL Seattle Kraken as a Sound of Seattle artist for his track Phat Ass Funk, which has been played at multiple NHL games in arenas. He has also been featured for live on-air guest DJ mixes on radio stations including 103.1 FM The Buzz (West Palm Beach), 99.7 FM ViBE (Las Vegas), and WVUM 90.5 FM (University of Miami).

Now based near Seattle, he co-runs Funky Bat Records with ekb*, blending music, visual art, and community. He also serves as the Breakbeat Music Ambassador for Vibe 99.7 FM in Las Vegas, the #1 dance music radio station in the entertainment capital of the world.

DE SOFFER is the creative vehicle of Tel Aviv producer Omri Soffer, five years ago his unofficial remixes began spinning at clubs around the world, and they've never stopped.
Guided by his elder brother since the age of 10, Music and Deejaying was his main focus as he grew up. Entering into the throbbing heartbeat of the city as he branched out behind the decks, he began to understand how to move and direct the dance floor with his fluid and dynamic style. As he grew more experienced, it was a natural progression to move into the recording studio and begin the DJ Producer journey.
Throwing his talents at doing Edits and Remixes, his tracks have been played all over the world but it is not until 2024 that he has taken the steps to release his official tracks to the world. Beginning with "Lost In The Night"- a dreamy after-hours jam that pairs a nu-disco groove with classic 80's electro-pop vibes. He is following that up with a Nu-Disco Cover of the 80s classic by French vocalist Desireless. Showing all the hallmarks of the icons of the game Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte, he has left no stone unturned by upgrading the tracks for a new generation of clubbers.

Named a ‘stellar edits provider’ by Mixmag and the ‘nu-disco don’ by Juno, Andy Buchan​ has become one of the most consistent names in the disco and edit scene for the past few years with chart-topping releases on dozens of disco-fried labels including Peppermint Jam, Hot Digits, Midnight Riot, Paper Disco and on his own Hot Gorilla Records imprint.    

Hot Gorilla Records launched with a bang including several Juno Download No.1s, multiple Traxsource Top 10s and four tracks in the Best of 2021 Beatport chart. Plus they’ve had repeat plays from BBC 6 Music and support from Greg Wilson, Horse Meat Disco and Craig Charles. Hot Gorilla Records also supported The Brand New Heavies on their 2021 sell-out tour across the UK. 
Andy’s own music has been picked up for reviews in DJ Mag and Mixmag, plus radio support from 6Music and Rinse FM and club and festival plays from big-name DJs including Bicep, Claptone, Horse Meat Disco, Greg Wilson, Peggy Gou, Justin Robertson, Electric Chair and more. And he was also asked to enter his music collection into the British National Library Sound Archive.     
He’s currently the resident DJ at Flight Club and Chow Down in Leeds and a regular guest DJ at leading Edinburgh venue The Street. Alongside that, Andy has played across the UK in recent years, warming up for Huey 6 Music, Dr Packer, Groove Armada, Psychemagik, Hot Chip and more. 

This is just the latest chapter in Andy’s career. After freelancing for Mixmag and training as a journalist, he moved to Dubai in 2004, working for Time Out Dubai before launching DJ Mag Middle East. He was a regular on the club and festival scene, first with his own long-running, award-winning nights and with long-term residencies at Pacha and Trilogy. He was also booked for Creamfields UAE twice and cemented his open-genre, curveball DJ style by playing alongside a wide variety of DJs including Fatboy Slim, Mark Ronson, Basement Jaxx, Todd Terje, Norman Jay, Liam Gallagher, Feel My Bicep, Graeme Park and more. 

Now back in the UK, he’s become a mainstay of the disco scene while his label Hot Gorilla Records continues to grow into one of the most exciting labels in the scene including 2022 festival slots at Beatherder and Standon Calling.

If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.
