jungle music was my choice of music at the start of my career
i had a thing for them big dutty basslines and you will see this influence in alot of my productions.
  
1992 was when i found the sound of chicago house
this was the start of my house and garage journey
playing in and around london on various stations and clubs i then moved to the 
south cost.
i was lucky enough to go and play at mansion house .
one of south coast very best raves along side eugene glasgow ..tom chubb ..richard de gottel
also went on to play for sitting pretty in worthing.

i now specialise in deep underground house and garage and garagehouse and has been for over 20 years.
it all started  with a pair of sound lab belt drives and a 2 channel mixer when i was 16 .

Just another fan of a large collage of music...

Travels throughout the United States, Europe and Jamaica! Inspired by icons such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Garnett Silk 
New Album drop in December 2009 is a compilation of expressed issues faced by the youth and the poor of the world. Menelik Fire messages are designed to connect with children and develop a mind change when battling the struggles of today and prepare them for what’s to come in the future.
The Inner World album is music that will inspire the youth and removed the blindfolds of society. Menelik Fire feels the younger generation needs to gain back the strength of our nation that can only be done by demanding positions of authority and not settle for the cards life has dealt.  “Blacks don’t realize how much the struggle was conquered through physical and mental brutality of being called the “N” word, that many of our leaders lost their lives to make a change for us to relive the worst parts of our history with the language we use.”
The method of his cause is communication through Reggae Culture Music. Menelik Fire has seen all avenues of music including promoting, performing and even playing steel drums as a child. His exposure to the world and the craft of music has developed his passion for change. “I’m someone inspired by the old and now here to create the new” Menelik Fire explains. His movement starts with the concept of his new album, Inner World. His life experiences living in a third world country have given him the strength to succeed. The Inner World album is not just an avenue designed to be the spokesman of the cause but to give him the opportunity to answer his own higher calling. Menelik Fire feels that overtime reggae music has been weakened by the desires of money and fame so he designed this album to put the spirit back into the words and get paid by watching people grow.
Although the message has a connection to his black roots, Menelik Fire’s goal is to get the message to the world and provide direction for a global change as a human race! He has tested the power of his words with his own family so he is confident he will touch the youth and achieve positive change. To put it simple he describes his mission as “blessed with joy!”
With pride Menelik Fire says, “It’s my duty to put the words with the beat and deliver food for the brain which will have a positive reaction on the soul!”
Our generational curses are making our kids orphans to the outside world… Menelik Fire’s new album takes the messages back to the roots and introduces culture music to the Inner World.
