Ambient Sessions # 99 - Alessandro Crimi

A soundtrack created for our audio-visual installation "Silent Forest" at Lana Live Art Festival. The piece imagines a future where massive plants dominate the landscape and humans have found their place within nature's new scale.

The music emerges from this world - thunder rolls between giant leaves, wind whispers through impossible canopies. Each sound was crafted to belong to this overgrown future.

Sebastian Mullaert's reinterpretation of Joseph S. Joyce's 2014 dub techno hit, 'Vedanta,' breathes new life into the track with a mesmerizingly minimalistic approach. Stripping away the rhythmic intensity of the original, Mullaert crafts an ambient rendition that delicately balances tranquility and introspection. Through washed-out chords and understated melodies that linger in the background, the remix takes on an ethereal quality, as if floating through a dreamscape.

Following Mullaert's rendition are four other remarkable remixes, each offering a distinct perspective on the original track. El Choop, Van Bonn, Federsen, and Paul 90 bring their unique sonic signatures to the table, further expanding the palette of 'Vedanta.' Additionally, Joseph S. Joyce himself contributes a live revisit, infusing the release with his creative energy. The remix compilation is set to be unveiled on June 28 through Joseph's Default Position record label.

Those incoming energies can best be received in a state of deep relaxation and allowance. Just set an intention to be open to receive and surrender and trust your innate intelligence to navigate and manage those upgrades and downloads.

11:11 Portal Energy 528 Hz Solfeggio Frequency Sound Journey to anchor the Light

A few days ago, a friend asked me if I recognized the cover they were playing. I guessed Breathe by Pink Floyd, which couldn't have been more wrong. But it prompted me to listen to Pink Floyd's records again after 30 years, and bam, here we are again, blown away by their work. Noodled a bit around with the intro of "Shine on you crazy diamond" this afternoon, no additional instruments, just 3 different modular samplers with all their twists..;)
