Tommy talks about the Beatles torturing women with death rays, growing up in rural Kentucky, getting beat up in school, listening to 8-track tapes while riding in an AMC Gremlin, hanging out at record stores, The White Squirrel Capitol Of The World, a rough night in Indianapolis, creative people and their insecurities, moving to Nashville, his nervous breakdown, meeting Johnny Cash, Waylon, Jerry Jeff Walker, meeting Tiny Tim at the circus, playing bass for Todd Snider, etc.

Episode 33: Tommy Womack

Tommy Womack of the Nashville band, Daddy, stopped by the Lightning 100 studios before the grand finale of this seasons, Wednesday Night Wags. Wags is a weekly benefit concert for Happy Tales Humane, held at The Basement Nashville this year during the month of March. Happy Tales is a non-profit no kill shelter located at the Factory at Franklin, in Williamson County, TN. Kat Kitchcock of Happy Tales joined, Tommy, for the interview portion. She discussed the series and the current needs of Happy Tales Humane.

Butterfly Boucher live in the studio, Friday the 8th, before headlining at 3rd and Lindsley, on the 10th, at Nashville Sunday Night. Butterfly played songs such as "The Weather," "5678," and "Warning Bell." Check it out!

The Last Bison stopped by the studio on February 20th, 2013 and chatted with Lt. Dan about the band and played a couple songs for us. Starting off the interview with their hit song "Switzerland" and also played "Dark Am I."

Alt-J stops by the studio for a live performance for some lucky guests in the Lightning 100 lounge. Gus and Joe performed "Tessellate," "Fitzpleasure," "Matilda," and their hot new single "Breezeblocks." They play at the Cannery Ballroom tonight, March 18th 2013.
