I did another Pulsus thing!!! Thank you SO MUCH Tetrogem, Pongeebob, and YCNK for letting me do this, this was so fun to make. I kind of took the word "pulses" with the color blue in mind and just formulated that into "a pulsing, beating heart in the ocean", which ended up being a really cool theme to work with. I was also kind of inclined to make this about pirates since there isn't that much pirate 200step out there. So what I ended up with was this really atmospheric, watery track that still managed to hit hard. Also this song would not be complete without Enbyfox's vocals. Their pirate voice was so incredibly fitting and I'm SO grateful they were able to do this! although some of the voice lines are actually just heavily processed geometry dash sound effects lol

Aight, matey. I think it’s about time I tell you The Legend of the Heart of the Sea. Not many people know this, but the ocean is actually alive. That’s how we get the waves and currents that help propel this very ship. But the ocean hides an even greater secret, a great treasure much grander than anything anyone has ever uncovered. 

Through years of ships sailing through the seas, many have disappeared, being taken by the ocean. And the ocean hides all the treasures from these ships in one massive cave, guarded by the Heart of the Sea.

The Heart… I’ve seen it meself. It glows a deep blue, suspended in a sphere of water with fluid arms branching out everywhere. It radiates a powerful force that compels anyone who lays their eyes on it to leave.

I was unable to take its treasure. The Heart's voice was too powerful for me to overcome. But legend has it that one day, the Heart will be found again. A worthy pirate will obtain all the riches the Heart possesses, and be freed from the dangers of a life at sea.

Finally made a style that I've been wanting to for FOREVER. I've finally gotten a hang of the sound though so I felt like making it would go pretty well, and it definitely did! Very inspired by one of my long-time favorite artists, R3V.

About the remix itself, I forgot where exactly I heard about the remix contest, but I then proceeded to listen to the album that Devoid was in and like dang it was actually really good. So of course I just had to participate in the remix contest! I tried to kind of amplify the dynamics of the song, just making a whole lot of contrast between huge and tiny sounds. So now the song is like uhh basically the opposite of devoid with everything going on in it lol

My final solo release on this account for the foreseeable future as I'm gonna be taking the biggest hiatus ever (I just graduated college, and life is about to get busy). No guarantee when I'll come back to making whatever it is that I've been making, but I will return, just not soon.

This track is inspired by and dedicated to my friends, the artists, and all the cool people and communities that have surrounded me ever since I started taking music seriously in 2020, I would not have reached this skill level without them helping me shape myself into becoming a tad bit more competent with my music.

They are also not representative of the paid edition, which is much better. Because of this, the singing version will unfortunately not be on streaming platforms. Why did I go with a vocal synth that I usually only use for sketching? I couldn't find a vocalist in time. This is easily the biggest project I have ever taken on. I would compare this to "Never Get Me" in style, size, and cause. It's emotional melodic dubstep, the biggest project I've taken on (at the time), and also for a cause greater than just myself. However, this easily blows "Never Get Me" out of the water. 

I hope this helps anyone out there who's struggling in life. Remember, there will always be someone that will be there for you, whether it be now, or in the future.
