Three years ago, around this time of the year I started to take music production more seriously. I met some wonderful people in the scene, and had some great sessions where I learned so many tips and tricks. In 2023 that resulted in my first ever release, together with Magnevi (a.k.a. Julian Del Agranda), on the wonderful Legacy of Trance label. What a moment and milestone. I also worked on some other collabs with an awesome producer (thanks Jack) from Denmark, one of the kindest guys I’ve met, we finished 2 tracks and are also busy with some other tunes! Besides collabs I also want to master mastering myself so I watched many tutorials regarding mastering.

Long story short, this mix contains most of my productions (and some collabs) of the past 3 years. Some fresh tracks, some reworks and an occasional remaster of an old one of myself. Made this mix for my own listening pleasure while on vacation, but it's too nice to keep for myself.

This mix also contains my 2 newest tracks, finished just before my holiday, after years of practising I recently found some kind of mastering mojo, created a kind of template for myself to have all basic sounds always right. Can you guess which tracks these 2 are?

TRANCEPORT 08

When I saw the flyer for the Captured Emotions Festival I thought two things: 1) wow, what a line up and 2) Hooj and Oliver Lieb is one hell of a combination! So I went digging for some older Hooj Choons tracks and Lieb tracks that I don't already have to try and create a mix that captures that mid to late 90s progressive trance / techno trance sound. This one starts off progressive with some well known Hooj tracks before getting into that heavier techno trance sound for the last hour or so. Hope you like it, feedback welcome. Lightning vs. Waveband, they met 11 years ago at a club event in Warsaw.
They played their first set as a duo then.  
They quickly became a couple both in private life and on stage. Since 2014, they began producing their own tracks as Lightning vs. Waveband. 
Their sets are characterized by an energetic mix of Upliftig Trance, Tech Trance with a touch of 
technical sounds. 
They have played alongside producers such as Indecent Noise, Mark Shery, Lostly, 
Allen Watts or Matt Bukowski and many others.
They have numerous support acts to their credit:
Future Soud of Egypt - Aly and Fil, Open Up - Simon Patterson, High Voltage - Allen Watts, Extrema - Manuel Le Saux, and Vonyc Sessions - Paul van Dyk.

Currently, they are not slowing down and are working on new songs, audios and a series of their events.
