Hello everyone!
"Into the Void" is now available on all digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, Tidal, among others). You can find me under my name, Wladimir Martínez, on each of them.

This piece is the continuation of "Goodbye Spaceboy," and it represents the moment when the character—after getting lost in the vast emptiness of the universe—falls into a black hole. The first part reflects the darkness and chaos of that descent, while the second part aims to convey a more luminous sound, a state of peace and acceptance of fate. To achieve this, I used a synthesizer with a timbre reminiscent of a church organ, evoking a sense of possible rebirth or spiritual transcendence.

I've also decided to give a new conceptual focus to my musical narrative with the following listening order:
"Space Oddity" → "Goodbye Spaceboy" → "Into the Void".
Even when music has no lyrics, I believe that with the right cues and references, a deep narrative can emerge—one that invites attentive listening and reflection on each atmosphere.

I’ve always been fascinated by the character of Major Tom, created by Bowie. With this musical triptych, I offer a personal interpretation of what might have happened to him beyond the stars: whether he ascended to another plane… or if he finally found peace.

Nicolas, better known as Shango, is a passionate music enthusiast with a unique journey through the realms of electronic music. Starting in the d.i.y. cassette scene and noise music, Shango's love for electronic music blossomed at rave parties. Initially inspired by the psychedelic trance scene, he began DJing psytrance in 2001, specializing in high-energy rhythms between 160 and 200 bpm, influenced by legends like Goa Gil.
A pivotal moment in Shango's career came in 2017, after experiencing a performance by Ricardo Villalobos at Stereo Afterhour in Montreal. This event ignited his love for minimal house, transforming his musical style. Today, Shango's sets are a captivating blend of dark, atmospheric sounds, ranging from 118 to 125 bpm, featuring homemade rhythms and carefully selected vinyl records.
