DONNIE LYSTEN is a "born to do it" musician. He's a singer/rapper from Pemberton, New Jersey. He's 23 years old. He's an artist who loves what he does, there's not a day that goes by that he wishes he did anything different. Donnie Lysten's a musician who's been doing music since he was about 4 years old. Donnie Lysten's first music highlights came from singing in a church choir directed by his Aunt Josie. His aunt is a singer herself, who taught him what she could. He fell in love with music at a very early age. A funny story about Donnie Lysten is when he was about 8 years old his father's favorite gospel cassette was all he would listen too. He later used the same cassette to record his own personal music. His dad couldn't be mad at him because he figured his son was doing what he loved and he sounded good doing it. Maybe he would've been more upset if he didn't believe in his son's talent, luckily he did. Gospel started his music venture. He would go to sing in the choir till about 12 years old. Donnie Lysten through his teen years would take a back seat to music and focus on sports. He was active in basketball, football, and wrestling. After high school Donnie Lysten rediscovered his love for music. William Hawthorne began to teach Donnie Lysten the basics of singing but Donnie Lysten knew one talent was not enough. He began to write poetry and started to rap. He knew the road would be hard as he imagined any career would be. He's auditioned for X-FACTOR, in which he and his sister made it to the 3rd round before not being invited back. The experience is what he loved about it, so he began performing live performances. Since then Donnie Lysten has moved to Miami, Florida to pursue his music career. He's fully equipped to change the world and won't stop till he does.
