‘My name is Charlotte Beal, I am a young singer songwriter and currently studying at Campsmount Technology College, Doncaster.

My dream has always been to be a successful singer and to produce my own music that people will enjoy and follow in the footsteps of Jessie J, Pixie Lott, Bruno Mars, etc.

When I was younger I would sing karaoke whenever the opportunity came my way and it was then that I realised that I had a love of singing, it was all I ever wanted to do.  I would go to my local youth club on a Saturday night and perform in plays, anything that would give me an opportunity to sing, in fact, we put on a performance of ‘Jack and The Beanstalk’, and I was given the part of a very musical Jack, performing various songs in the play.  We sold tickets to the local residents in our village and the play was a sell-out.  The local press photographed us and published it in the local newspaper – I was on cloud nine J

By the time I was 11 I realised I wanted to take things further and so I booked a session at Aside recording studio in Wakefield and recorded a few cover versions to make my own CD to give to all my friends and family so that I could show off my talent. Everyone enjoyed listening to my CD and made good, positive comments, this made me want to do even more, and very quickly!


I feel as though my dream is becoming more of a reality every day and I am thoroughly enjoying it.  My goal is to become a successful singer, known for producing good music that everyone can enjoy and appreciate – watch this space. . .
