Kate Stanton and I were discussing music and happened to connect over that weird vibe of being in betwixt and between. After she shared her video from a local dead mall in her town that is being demolished soon, she sent me a rough piano / synth and vocal draft. Some months ago I've been paired with Geoff to compose a song based on his lyrics "I'm not angry". The lyrics were so well-phrased that I heard the stomping of an angry, but fierce woman who is going through a divorce. Alyssa did an awesome job getting into the character and her voice is perfect for that song. Originally composed on the guitar, I am happy that Albert joined our team. We really needed that dark vibe in between folk and blues.

It's incredible that it only took me ten years to make something with this melody. I find this funny because, just recently, I've been reconnecting with friends from that time and, to be honest, it has been kind of a surreal experience. 
Anyway, this one goes to a friend named like a constellation.
