I wrote this song in 2022 and it's about young lovers and how they sometimes rush into things. I think I watched a film that triggered this feeling of lost love due to youth, I'm not sure but Charlie sang it very well. It has an interesting lyric rhyming scheme and of course I wrote the lyrics first. There's a nice Spanish guitar in the lead portion of the song. I wrote it with Elvis in mind for the vocals! "TURN BACK TIME"

     This is my new Christmas song for the year. It has a double meaning for me and that's why I call it "The Last Christmas"! Charlie did a good job singing it and I joined him in spots! I wrote it during the hot summer this year, so go figure!!😂 I used up all the tracks I had available to record it (I'm old school, give me a break!) and I had tons of fun recording all the parts too! The song at the end during the credits is another Christmas song I wrote back in 2001 called "Have A Very Merry Christmas" with Sharri singing and Charlie and me doing background vocals. Check both out I have a video each one! This video was super fun to create, I spent a lot of time and effort on it, the sleigh ride with Santa is especially cool! I added a lot of eye-candy and special audio effect here and there. This video is for the whole family so feel free to share it with loved ones and watch it together.

Now for the secret double meaning of this song!! It's a sad tale, so prepare yourselves! Back when I was in high school, back in ancient times, there was a very pretty girl in our English class named Chrissy, she was very nice and sweet, I sat next to her and she was very smart and let us dumb guys cheat off of her papers sometimes!😂 Anyway for almost the whole year I never realized that her real name was Christmas, we all called her Chrissy. There was something very sad about Chrissy, I didn't know what it was but the next year Chrissy never returned to school? Later, I found out she had leukemia, I think? She never returned to school after that and some of the kids told me she had sadly passed away however I'm not sure about that but I never did she her again. So this song is for her and after all these years she popped back in my brain?! So let's all enjoy Christmas this year with family and friends because you never know when it will be your Last Christmas! Here's another love related ballad that I wrote in 2006, around the time when I married my wonderful wife and my best friend Anita!! The lyrics are about how seldom my beautiful wife wears blue, which is my favorite color, but she looks great in all colors! It's another love ballad that wasn't recorded so well, I still had my old 8-track Tascam back then and I think it could have been mixed a whole lot better. I was still tinkering and getting used to the recorder! Charlie sang it perfectly and I double tracked his vocals, he also added some harmonica on the track as well. The video I put together last month and I threw in a lot of eye-candy and special effects at it to enhance it!

 I had forgotten about this song but when I was producing the video for "She Rescues Me" I noticed the song on the CD and did a video for it too! The melody is nice and the lyrics are sweet and it flows ok. Not my best song but it ain't my worst either!      This is a serious sad song that deals with drug addiction and the loss of a loved one due to drugs. I have never dealt with that personally but I know families that have and it's devestating to say the least. It's a tough subject but I tend to write about everything and this is a subject we should be thinking about more often. It's about a husband dealing with his wife's drug addiction and how he doesn't want to go on living without her, so he's pleading for her to stop. 
     My wife and I were dealing with her Breast Cancer around the time I was writing this song and after surgery she had to go through Chemo and radiation treatment. Not a very good time for us, I was so worried, I guess that's where the music must have originated. I remember this really sad and depressing feeling following me around for many months too, like a dark cloud! Having to see a loved one going through all that is the worst!
             Charlie really did a good Job singing this one, I didn't do so well playing the piano, sounds a bit clunky,  but I'm not a pianist, I play mainly by ear and I don't read or write music at all, it all comes from the heart.

       The video was very challenging and I tried to follow the lyrics as close as possible. I applied some eye-candy here and there but it's basically very straight forward.         This song brings back some good memories, it's just a slow groove that lifts your spirits and brings a happy summer glow to your face! We all take a little trip down Memory Lane every now and then, more now than then, I must admit in today's climate. My attempt at a soul song, a bit of R&B for me! Charlie sang it really well and played some harmonica on it too. I told Charlie to sing it like Marvin Gaye or Al Green or Otis Redding or someone like that! My harmony vocals were a bit off but the doo-doo's at the end were on target. I even had Charlie talk some lines too! I wrote out a little script for him to follow! Pretty cool if you ask me but what do I know?

The video is brand new, I finished it last month. It was really fun putting it together and I was watching old reruns of "The Wonder Years" to get me in the mood. That show actually made me think of this old song of mine, I had actually forgotten all about it! The video shows you memories through a young girls eyes in her room, she then grows up and you see her arranging old photos and watching old movies on video tape and enjoying some popcorn and then when she gets older there's a special treat for everybody, a twist, I won't spoil it here but watch until the end! Sometimes a tear or two develops while you're strolling down Memory Lane.

      This is a brand new song and video for everybody. It's a dance number with a bit of a Bo Diddly rhythm to it! Do you remember the Hand Jive? (Watch Grease, they do it in the movie at the dance). I used every track I had on this number, guitars coming at you from all directions!😂 I decided to sing this one since Charlie has been busy lately, I worked super hard on it! This song I wrote back in 2010 and it's about failed relationships. I don't remember much about the song, it wasn't personal or anything like that, I think Charlie said something about politicians only giving us "Pretty Words & Empty Promises" and I liked that title so later that week I wrote this song. I wanted it to be bittersweet sounding, I was trying to express in music what a broken heart may sound like if it could sing. Charlie really did a good job on this one. One of my prettiest melodies and saddest lyrics. The video follows the lyrics pretty closely and is fairly new, I think I finished it up in March of this year. Here's a song and video that's a bit of a change of pace, a crazy gangster story song from my album "Unhinged" that I recorded back in 2019. A totally made up this rock song and it has a nice riff. This is NOT one of my love songs!😂 It follows these insane bank robbers with serious mental problems! I wanted to make like a little action movie for this song. OK, this is a very weird novelty song about literally nothing! No hidden meanings or words of wisdom here. Just a nice little old timey jazzy instrumental that had lyrics at one time but I discarded them and just made a video using the instrumental track. What inspired me to write this song was a silent short film I watched that was made in 1907 called "The Dancing Pig". It's on YouTube so watch it, it's about 5 minutes long and it is very creepy! It's a French film and it's about this woman that dances with this animatronic pig. She humiliates the pig and then he enacts his revenge by eating her offstage?? The pig is a giant puppet, being controlled by several people and is really quite remarkable, to say the least! It's amazing that it was filmed in 1907 and is so eerie and creepy! So I basically just added some of the footage in the video and called the song "Salty Bacon".

I played the banjo on this one and gave it a very old fashioned jazzy style to it! I did play a mean hard rock lead guitar and some funky keyboards on this song, I tried to mix some rock in with an old style jazzy tune. I think it worked! The video is about nothing, I just edited any random clips together that I came across. The video didn't take too long to make, about a day only, quite different from the "Sweatin' Bullets" video that took about a week! So I hope you all enjoy my novelty song and video but don't partake too much in the Salty Bacon, it's bad for your health!😂 Thanks for watching and take care everyone!✌🏼😎🙏

This is a very old song written in 2001 and one of the first songs I recorded with Charlie. It's a kind of Disco Jazz Pop song, with a nice wah-wah guitar but not recorded too well on my old TASCAM 8-track tape machine. I was going to record it all over again but I'm way too busy and behind to re-record it. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to say "Beautiful Blonde" anymore but she was and I ain't changing the lyrics now. It's just a fluffy little nothing song, very light-hearted and innocent like songs used to be! No deep meaning here, just dancing for dancing's sake! So here it is with all the bumps, bruises, flat notes, and my horrid singing! Charlie and I both sang it together in spots (We should have rehearsed it a bit more! We just winged it!😂) and Charlie played a nice Jazzy harmonica on it as well!
     There's a nice story behind it, Mid-life crisis mode again, I was out with a few friends and we stopped by a nice retro club downtown that had a live band playing 60's and 70's music and I guess I had a few too many and nobody was dancing, so I just got up on the floor and started to dance by myself. At the time I was in my 40's and I could still dance pretty good, I'm a very active dancer, funky/disco/latin vibe, I could even moonwalk!😂 Anyway, about the second or third song this very good-looking blonde started dancing with me? Out of nowhere? And we danced all night until my friends wanted to leave. I left with them and never got her name or number or anything, just the memory! She was a very sweet and nice person, well a Beautiful Blonde lady, I do remember that!😂 A few days later I wrote this song from the experience. I know it's pretty rough around the edges and my recording equipment was pretty crappy at the time but the spirit is still in there, somewhere, with some good lyrics too!

I put the video together last year and had a lot of fun doing it! I tried to put in 100 beautiful blonde ladies in ti!😂 It's very true what they say the Blondes have more fun! This is an old song written around 2001 when I was a very unhappy bachelor! It was 3 years before I met the love of my life and I guess I was a victim of love!  I was trying to write a Pop Punk Rock song, similar to The Cars of the 80's & 90's. I think I failed, what else is new!! 😣 This was recorded on an old TASCAM 8-track recorder and it sounds very tinny and not very well mixed. I was going to re-record it now with my new equipment but I'm just too behind in other projects to record everything over again, so what you hear, is what you get! Written and recorded around the same time as "Beautiful Blonde" and "That's Between Me and You", as a matter of fact I found this one while I was doing the video for "Beautiful Blonde". Everything is me on this one, including vocals (please forgive) but in a weird quirky way, I kind of like it, it could be a hit, if it was recorded and sung properly. I edited it down a bit, took off about 1 minute and added some new audio special effects here and there. This song is totally about nothing and made up in the studio. Just a guy telling himself he's NOT a victim of love when in fact he very much IS a victim of love! The irony is delicious!😂

The video is brand new, I just finished it last month and it's better than the song itself, in my opinion! There are some comic bits in the video since it's a very light hearted song. This one is a very nostalgic song that I wrote back in 2008, it has that early 60's vibe to it. My wife I needed some good vibrations since we were dealing with her Breast Cancer treatments and all that. We really needed a feel good song and so I wrote this. I even got her to sing background vocals with me on two songs at that time, this being the first and "Back In Younger Days" being the second, I'll be making a video on that one later on this year. 
    I double-tracked Charlie's vocals and he sang it perfectly! I remember having a real good time at these sessions, lots of laughing and finger snapping and rockin' & rollin' and what not!😂 I always want to relive the good ole days where smiles were plenty and frowns were few, like on "Memory Lane"!

     The video is brand spanking new, I just finished it last week! I worked hard on it for several days and tried to capture that Beach Boys kind of vibe of the early 1960's. I finished the video after hearing the sad news of Brian Wilson's passing on June 11th, 2025. That really made me sad, another of my musical hero's now gone. He was a real musical genius! There are 3 parts to the song, all about guys begging forgiveness from their girlfriends for something stupid that guys always seem to do, I Still Remember that!😂
     I think this is one Miami Jeff's best songs and certainly one of my favorites. It's very catchy and is a perfect summertime song! So I hope everyone is having a great summer and is eager to take another trip down Memory lane with me. This time to the beach! Let your hair down, take your shoes off, put the top down on the convertible and let the good times roll! Ooh, Ooh! Ooh!😎✌🏼

This song was written for my beautiful wife Anita shortly after we both met. One of many I've written her, she is after all the love of my life. She put an end to that crazy mid-life crisis I was struggling with for 6 years! I really like this ballad and I re-recorded it this year and wanted Charlie to sing it but he cancelled out on several occasions for personal reasons, so I went ahead and sang it myself, I guess I should have waited!  (please forgive my awful vocals and harms!). It's a very basic and raw song and I didn't record a lot of instruments and I didn't do a lot of overdubs, maybe I should have, maybe a piano or some more strings would have helped it a bit. It's one of my favorite love songs that I have written and it's very personal, both lyrics and medley came to me rather easily and quickly, maybe an hour at most! Those are the best, the ones that come to you without you even having to think about it, they come straight from the heart.

This is a new song written last year, another love song for my wife of course!😂. That makes pretty near a hundred, I'd say! 🤔😂 I actually wrote it for her for Valentine's Day this year but my vocals were so weak I just couldn't release it! I wanted to write a jazzy song this time, so I wrote some lyrics and picked up my acoustic guitar and played chords until this song was born. I love jazz but unfortunately I can't play or sing it very well.

The video was fun to put together, I always enjoy producing videos having to do with love! So when I did the storyboard for this video I decided to make it a ghost story, who doesn't love a ghost story, right? I made it about a man grieving over his wife's passing and how he misses her so very much, especially during the holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving. It's a bit heartbreaking and bittersweet but so is life! I've known many people that go through this kind of grief and sadness. The line about a ballerina dancing in the clouds was a clue about her dancing in heaven! I tweaked that line and re-recorded the vocal for the video.   

Charlie did not want to sing this song because it's very complex with a lot of key changes, so I sang it myself, I apologize for that because I don't think I sang it well at all! I just don't have that Jazz voice like Nat King Cole! Man if he sang this song it would have been so chill. It's another very raw song with minimal overdubs! I wanted it to be very intimate! I actually also wrote different lyrics for a female singer to sing as well but no one, male or female, wanted to sing it for me!! The female version have happier lyrics and have nothing to do with anyone dying. Well, I guess it's not a very good song but I think the guitar solo sounds pretty cool anyway. I had this slated to be dropped in February on Valentine's Day like I said but I thought I did such an awful job singing it that I pushed it back to June, I may push it back to oblivion after a few days or maybe turn it into an instrumental piece instead later on, I don't know? But anyway, here's to all the Lady Loves out there! All your men love you, you know that! Love is always the answer!!  Cheers! 💝🙏✌🏼

This is an old Santana instrumental number that I used to play when I was in my band back in south Florida many, many moons ago. It has a nice latin flavor to it and I used to rock out on it! I recorded it long ago back in 2001, I think? Not too many instruments or overdubs on this one but I did slip an organ in there! The song was written by Santana back in 1970.  I've always loved it because it has 2 rhythms to it, first slow and then fast. It's a cool song and I hope everyone enjoys it. It's a really nice summer song to drink a few Mojito's or Margarita's and maybe shake a tail-feather or two!

       This song I wrote back in 2011 and I wanted a swampy, funky, sexy, soulful, sound to it, just a slow mellow vibe to groove to in a slow dance or something. I was going for that Barry White or Marvin Gaye kind of vibe. I worked hard on the lyrics and tried to capture that first date/first dance kind of chemistry! A little spark in the dark, if you will! Charlie did a great job singing it. I had done a video for it early on but it just wasn't very well done so I remixed the song and produced a new video for it about a weeks ago. WARNING: This is one of my Avant-Garde theatrical pieces and NOT a love song! It's an instrumental about the dangers of war and the horror of a Nuclear bomb being dropped somewhere! Perfect timing for today, right? It's not a pleasant theme or thought but I'm really worried about the mindset that this world is in at the moment, even the doomsday clock is the closest it has been to midnight ever! Whichever country is stupid enough to drop a nuke, will be the country that dooms us all! The planet may survive but humanity and the animal kingdom will certainly perish with the nuclear fallout. I'm a veteran and I don't want us to end in such a selfish, cowardly, idiotic manner such as this!!

This song was written by Craig Pate in 1987 - He sang all the vocals and played all the instruments with the exception of Lead Guitar which I played. It's a great retro hard rock song with that heavy rock guitar sound that I love! No A.I. cheating here guys, instruments are actually played!  WOW! 🤯 We really need to bring back hard driving guitars and lead guitars in music. I remixed the song and added an outro section during the credits from another song of mine called "Lady Green" recorded in 2017 for the my album "Vulcan Mind Meld".

Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel!  **I NEVER USE A.I. FOR ANY OF MY SONGS!** Just me & Charlie warts and all! I actually play all the instruments & Charlie sings and plays the Harmonica! We're NOT perfect but we're REAL!! 
This is another of my travels down Memory Lane songs and video. I love to reminisce about the good times when I was a kid and life was ours for the taking! Those sweet memories seem to be diminishing now and being replaced with harsh ones about hatred and division and greed. Okay, but let's stay positive and happy for now because this song is one of joy! Charlie sang it perfectly and once again I got my beautiful wife to come down to the studio and join me in the backing vocals as I did on the song "I Still Remember". It has that same early 60's rock & roll groove to it and we had a fabulous time recording it! This is one of my favorites because it's a story song about being teenagers and having fun! As the French always say "La joie de vivre"!

This song is a new one written this year and it's about how we've all become Broken Mirrors in some way. All of us, we were a loving people, not a cruel people, we were a caring people, not a hateful people, we were a hard working and strong people but also a very fragile people and I feel we've become a little bit more shattered in recent years. Our beliefs and hopes have diminished somewhat and this song reflects that broken mirror in us all. It's harder and harder to stay positive in this crazy hateful world today. I sang this one since Charlie was not available. I think the mix was too loud but I'm having problems with my computer and couldn't adjust the sound in my film editor like I usually do.

I worked hard on the video and tried to follow the lyrics as close as possible. It will drop on August 1st on YouTube. It's about our lack of empathy as of late and this constant hatred for other people that I now sense in this great country of ours!.  So I asked myself, how did we get here? When a country starts depriving its citizens of basic needs like healthcare and not helping our senior citizens and ignoring the less fortunate among us and stop assistance for veterans (like me) that risked our lives for this country, then we're on a road to destruction and our government has failed us.       Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by and listening! This song I wrote back in 2013 and it was just another love song with my favorite color in it for my wonderful wife! Can anyone guess what my favorite color is? Blue is correct! I've written many songs with the color blue in the title like: "Blue, Blue"; "Somewhere In Blue"; "Heavrnly In Blue"; "Big Blue Tree",  ect, ect, well it goes on and on. It's jazzy and easy listening and with NO A.I. can you dig it? I think the inspiration for this one was me asking my lovely wife why she is seldom in blue, or something like that. This is another of my jazzy love songs with a Latin rhythm to it. Charlie sang it beautifully. This song was written in the tradition of "The Great American Songbook". You know, like Gershwin, Berlin, Porter used to write. Very old fashioned but I remember I added a Sitar to it to give it that dreamy sound and I think I used heavy echo on Charlie's vocal at some point in the song too!

      Howdy everyone! Ok I did a little reshuffling here and bumped this song to the front of the line! I just finished the video and put about a weeks work into it! It's a comic relief song, a novelty, about getting old! They say we should write about things we know, and I know about getting older!😂 I wrote the song in 2021 during the pandemic because we needed some comedy then and I think we need some comedy now too! This is something my friends and me used to say at work all the time when we'd forget something or did something stupid like ask where your glasses are when they are on top of your head!😂 I tweaked the lyrics a little and took several curse words out of the song but kept a couple in, so beware people, please don't call the Profanity Police on me! They're mild words like "shit" and "ass" nothing more than that!  There are some words of wisdom thrown in there too like in all my songs. It's just a fun song and video!

     I wrote it to a Latin Rock beat, kind of like a Santana song. I remember it took me several weeks to record the backing track because I added a ton of stuff on it Bass, Piano, Acoustic and Electric guitars, percussion, I worked very hard on it, it's all just me playing eveything with a Drum Machine because I don't play the drums. A little bit Salsa, a little bit Rock & Roll because that's how I roll!😂 The vocals are all me and I recorded them last week, I was going to have Charlie sing it but I decided to do it myself because we've been stuck on this other song for a month now and I have like 30 songs ready to go. So please forgive the vocals! The video is funny and I spent a couple weeks on that as well. It's about getting old and forgetting words and your body hurting and falling asleep, and telling kids to get off your lawn! The usual things that come with getting older. Basically "Old man yelling at clouds" syndrome!😂 I know how that is!  The video will drop on YouTube in a couple of weeks! I hope everyone laughs with me and not at me! But I won't mind as long as you laugh a little!! So sit back and have a laugh on me! Cheers! 🍻

      This is another of my Instrumentals written in 2022 during the pandemic with a moral underbelly. I've always wanted to write a song about Swans but I put a twist in the video and made it about hunters that actually shoot and kill Swans for no apparent reason other than they must enjoy killing beautiful things and creatures. I also added other creatures besides man that can be deadly for Swans like Alligatros and such. The song was way too long and too repetitive so I remixed it last year and shortened it by about 1 minute and a half and produced a new video for it.  Even with the edits the song is still over 5 minutes long! I think I should have edited about another 1 minute from it. It's still a little too repetitive! This audio soundtrack is made to be listened to with the video! You here gunshots and other noises so please check out the video.

    During the new video creation I had turned the Swan into a beautiful woman and tried to suggest that killing a beautiful Swan is like killing a beautiful woman and therefore must NEVER be done! I don't show any Swans being shot, of course, it's all suggestive. After a recent comment on my video from my fellow creator and good friend Blue Bart (check his channel out on YouTube, it's really cool!👍), he suggested that the beautiful woman in the video should be a "Magical Swan Goddess" looking after and protcting these magnificent creatures from hunters and preditors! I really loved that idea and so with a wave of my wand, WHOOSH, it is so!😂 I'd like to thank Bart for his very creative and inspiring suggestion!
     I remember adding tons of audio and video effects on this one, lots of keyboards and delayed guitars and such. Another artsy composition and video, showing that I don't only compose silly love songs, although I must admit, I love writting them!  😂 This one is along the lines of "A Sublte Tear", "Together Alone", and "Oblivion". More of an artistic instrumental with no lyrics and a long cinematic video, more like a Short Subject film.   This song has a totally made up lyrics about nobody real, all in my imagination. I wanted to write like an "Eleanor Rigby" type of song about loneliness, mental illness, and old age. Just following that type of format. Words came first and then I wrote the music. Which gives it that creepy vibe with a falling cliche bass line. Very eerie and haunting, trying to capture that getting old by yourself ambiance! I wrote it during the pandemic, so the scene was set! I added organ, guitars, bass, and a bunch of other instruments pre-pandemic and Charlie came over and added the vocals and a harmonica track post-pandemic. Great job by him on both accounts. So it just sat around for 3 years just gathering digital dust!😂 I never thought it was that good because the timing seemed off to me, probably because I had forgotten how it went after 3 years! Not our best effort I think. If you watch the video it will make more sense.

     The video was challanging and I spent a ton of time on it, about a week last year. I made it about 2 people, both named Amanda, hence the title "Amanda, Amanda". The name was suggested by my wife who loves the name Amanda. The first Amanda was a middle aged woman wandering around at night in a forest with a torch and crying herself to sleep but the second Amanda was an elderly woman that quite frankly had gone a little bit crazy due to the lonliness. We can all relate especially during the pandemic! I tried to show that in the video. There's a ton of eye-candy in the video. It's a haunting tale and a haunting song. This is a cover song written by Lolly Vegas of Redbone. Redbone was a native american rock band. It was a big hit in 1974 and again in 2013 as one of many songs in the outstanding soundtrack for the film "Gaudians Of The Galaxy". I recorded the song with Charlie singing as a birthday present for my wife's niece's son Lucca several years ago. When my wife's sister and her kids were visiting us that year we all decided to go down to my studio and I recorded them singing backing vocals to the song and then we decided to video tape us all lip-syncing to the recorded track. I then later video taped Charlie lip-syncing to the song too. My wife then put all the video tapes together with added commentary before and after the video for Lucca.

 I decided to make a video of the song for YouTube without the personnal coimmentaries. So this video has the following line up: Charlie singing lead and playing the cowbell; Me playing guitar in the stenson hat; my awesome brother playing Bass in the Colombian hat; My wife and her sister Nora and her kids Gabby and Pablo singing back-up. We were all lip-syncing to my recorded track. I think it needs more cowbell, what do you guys think?😂 It was a fun sessions and I thought everyone would get a kick of watching us on the video.      Welcome everyone! This song is all about celebrating the NFL American Football and beer! This song can also be for Soccer as well since that sport is very similiar and is loved in Europe and South America. I used to hang out with all my friends every Sunday at BW3's for NFL football and beer pre-pandemic. My wife and I used to be in a few Fantasy Football Leagues and we all got together to watch all the games. My favorite teams are the Miami Dolphins and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Neither teams is looking pretty good this year but we'll have to wait and see. I used to love my Sundays at BW3's with friends and family, that is until the pandemic hit and then sadly we stopped going and when we were able to go back again, it just wasn't the same anymore. My wife and I both quit all our leagues and now we watch football just for the love of watching football. I loved it so much that I wrote this song about the experience. Charlie sang the song very well and played the harmonica too. All good things must come to an end, I guess!

I was very reluctant about dropping this video because my heart was breaking while listening to this song again. I know it's silly but we had such good times and good memories there for many years.      Howdy everyone and I hope everyone had a great Labor Day, without laboring of course!😂 This is another of my instrumentals, which actually had lyrics but the vocals were not recorded too well so I made it into an instrumental. It's about having that Las Vegas experience which I'm sure nobody can afford anymore with this economy unless you're a billionaire! I've been to Vegas many times and most times I've lost, hence the title "Lost Wages"! I'm not a gambler, so when I lose a couple of hundred dollars I start sweating profusely!!😂 It's a fast paced song and I played like a boogie-woogie synthesizer on it and a rock guitar. Charlie played a groovy harmonica on it too! I've decided to drop an instrumental and a cover song every month from now on besides my normal songs and videos. Last time we went to Las Vegas, back before the pandemic, it was for about a week and all we saw were the shows and never gambled, that was my favorite trip because I didn't lose a dime!  I wrote this song after a trip to Shady Hallow Lake in Indiana. Charlie has some lake front property there and it's great for camping, fishing, roasting marshmallows and playing live concerts. I tried to keep the video as true to the lyrics as I could. It was a lot of fun putting it together. I love the tranquility of a full moon casting the silvery glow over the lake! It's very magical! I especially love the fact that there were no I-phones, computers, TV's, ect, ect. No distractions, everything was left in the car! Times like those really heal a person. It was spiritually rejuvenating!  Charlie sang the song very well but my harms were a little flat (like my head!😂, sorry about that!). It was a very cool experience for me and my wife and we got to do some jamming by the fireside on the lake too! Well, I hope everyone enjoys it and thanks for dropping by and listening!  Hi everyone, hopefully all is well. This is an old song I wrote in the 1990's and re-wrote in 2008 and it's about second chances. I believe everyone should have a second chance at everything in life but in love I believe you must think things through very carefully because it they cheat on you once, there's a good chance they'll cheat on you again! You know the old saying "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!"  In my humble opinion, some trusts just cannot be broken and once they are broken there's just no turing back. I was cheated on once in my first marriage and that feeling of being stabbed in the back still hurts to this day. If you can't get along with your partner, divorce them and go your own way afterwards but betrayal is always very devastating and I hope no one ever has to go through something like that. 
    I reworked and tweaked the lyrics a little in 2008 to make them less corny but it's very much like a film script where you can see what the characters are saying to each other, in a sort of back and forth interaction in the dialog, and you can get a sense of the doubt that will now always be there in your heart once you have been betrayed. It's really heartbreaking and "second chances" have to be really thought out and handed out very carefully. I still do however believe in them! (I'm a fool, I know!) You must watch the video, I worked hard on the script!😂
    The song is bittersweat and not a love song but more of a "Beware Of Fake Love" song. It's very country & poppy musically and Charlie did a great job singing it! I wanted it to sound light and easy to balance out the heavy lyrics. There are a couple of  key changes, as well as mood changes, in the song. I was going after that Eagles sound of the early 70's, you know that mellow acoustic vibe but with a little Broadway drama thrown in during the middle 8. It's like if the Eagles and the Carpenters had a baby, it would sound like this!😂

The video is new, I finished it a couple of month's ago. I tried to have the video follow the script as close as possible. I think it turned out okay, who knows? This is a another song written during the pandemic in 2022. It's about the joy of reading! I know we don't read hardly anymore that's why we are pretty ignorant about science and math, look it up, don't take my word for it!! I still enjoy reading, it sparks my creativity, and opens up my imagination! It's really fabulous the trips we can make with our imagination by just reading. I whipped up seveal tales and weaved them all together into a Rock song. It is also about what happens to unread books that just turn to dust on our shelves. (Read H.G. Wells "The Time Machine" or at least watch the 1960 film!). I guess we will soon have no need for libraries!  Just I-phones! This is an adventure song, my Indiana Jones song!

      The video is brand new with loads of eye-candy for everybody. I thnk I finished it a few months ago. It'll take you on several exciting adventures!! I hope people enjoy it, we must continue to read books because when we stop reading books, then we will stop having independent thought and we become nothing more than brain dead sheep!  I'm sure that's what some evil people actually want! (Look what they did to Jimmy Kimmel!!). Read a book before they censor them and take them away! **I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS OR VIDEOS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs or my videos, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks.
