I wrote this song in 2022 and it's about young lovers and how they sometimes rush into things. I think I watched a film that triggered this feeling of lost love due to youth, I'm not sure but Charlie sang it very well. It has an interesting lyric rhyming scheme and of course I wrote the lyrics first. There's a nice Spanish guitar in the lead portion of the song. I wrote it with Elvis in mind for the vocals! This song was written by Linda Pieters & myself. I wrote the music and Linda wrote the lyrics. It's a beautiful song that she wrote for her daughter, it took me a week to write the music for it, she has posted a rendition of it on her SoundCloud channel under Melinda Hannsen, check it out, she's a great Country singer!  I remixed it and enhanced the music a bit with my instrumental track. The video took me about a couple of weeks to produce and edit together and I think it enhances the song really well. This is an old Rock song I wrote back in the '80's, just some good old hard Rock & Roll song for a hair band of that time. The lyrics are kinda lame but it wasn't recorded really well, I had cheap recording equipment at the time, maybe a TASCAM cassette multi-track recorder. Nothing much to say about it, I sang it so please forgive, the Chorus repeats too many times I think. It should have had more leads. This song I wrote in collaboration with Lance of LT Guitar from Soundcloud! Check him out, he's plays a mean guitar! I wrote the lyrics, played some percussion, added some sound effects, and sang it! This song was written in 2007 and is another of my space videos with a ghostly twist. I wrote it as a kind of Halloween ghost in space thing. Charlie sang it very well and I tried to play a very melodic Bass on it, like Chris Squire from Yes. This is a favorite of my wife, she really loves it and I like it a lot as well. I made the video just before I left for vacation about 3 weeks ago. The video turned out really good and I threw in plenty of space eye-candy for everyone to enjoy. Watch the video for the full irony of it all! It's a twisted irony to be a ghost in the machine! This is my #2 video for Halloween 2024 and not very creepy at all. Basically it'a about an astronaut that misses the earth, his wife, his kids, and is stranded on another planet where he dies but his ghost is still floating around lost forever in space, kind of a revamped Space Oddity from David Bowie! I tried different rhythms for it and threw in a lot of sound effects here and there but I don't feel I recorded what I was hearing in my head. The lyrics are O.K. but the music is so-so. It's a little too long, I should have cut maybe another minute out of it. I was trying to set the right mood. It's like 2 songs meshed together into one, there's the slow spooky verses and then the very disco-flavored faster section, let me know if you think it works? It is a little creepy, especially at night when you're all alone in an old creaky house, that's when the doubts start creeping in!😱👻 The video was fun to make and enhances the song tremendously! I worked very hard on it a few months ago just for Halloween 2024. Watch it if you dare! Getting creeped out and losing your mind is not my idea of fun but it's Trick Or Treat time! Why do we like being scared so much? Who knows? This song I wrote earlier this year especially for this Halloween! It's a vampire tale and not for the weak of heart! It took me some time to record and I used up every track I had. As we get closer to Halloween the songs become more intense! "Listen to them, the children of the night, what sweet music they make!"🧛‍♂️ The video also took about a week to do and edit together. This song is brand new, I was taking a break from all those Halloween songs and wrote another good ole Rock & Roll song with all my favorite heroes mentioned in the song & video. As I was growing up in the 60's and the 70's, I loved all the rock & roll stars of the 50's & 60's like Elvis, Chuck berry, Bill haley, then in the 60's The Beatles, The Stones, The Who, The Kinks, Beach Boys, etc, etc. I wanted to pay tribute to those great artists and so I wrote a this new song. It has a nice little riff in it and it has that Rolling Stones vibe to it! I produced a video for it but I'm not sure If YouTube will allow me to post it because of all those above mentioned stars, I edited in several groups that I mentioned in the song, so they may make me take it down so watch it as soon as it drops, they are really picky over there on YouTube, even though it's an original song by me! I'm playing all the insturments and singing, no audio from any bands mentioned was used!

  This song I wrote in collaboration with MiLu Lotus earlier this year. Check out her channel on YouTube and SoundCloud, she's super cool! We wrote it for Halloween 2024, MiLu wrote the music and I wrote the lyrics, I added some guitars and sang it. MiLu helped with the Demon vocals as well. It's my 6th song/video for Halloween 2024! We're getting almost there now! I produced the video several months ago and I worked hard on it too!      This song was written by Kevin Lyons and myself last year. I wrote the lyrics and Kevin wrote and played all the music and sang it too! This is the 7th and final song for my Halloween Spookathon this year! This one is about Death and it's pretty grim so fair WARNING, this is still not one of my happy carefree love songs. You will get a ton of my new love songs & videos for the remainder of the year, after the election, believe me! 😂 Like everybody else, I think I was depressed when I wrote it and actually the lyrics were for another song but I never used the lyrics because I made the other song into an instrumental so I gave the lyrics to Kevin and he came through again with flying colors! Not much to say about Death, unfortunately it's the one thing we all have in common! Like it or not we all must go, so be nice to your fellow human beings while you're here, there's a chance you may be meeting them again! It's basically about the anxiety one feels when life suffocates you in any way. It seems everything has gone haywire lately! Grocery prices, the rent is too damn high, our government has gone berserk, A.I. taking over our music and our minds, on and on and on and on! The song was longer but I edited down for the video which will drop in December! It's a very depressing song but I think I played some cool guitar on it and sang it ok! The tail end of the song is another song I wrote around the same time called "Sick Inside", I added it to the track to play over the credits in the video, and by the way, I am feeling quite sick inside!   This song I wrote a while back in 2004 for a female vocalist to sing. I had Sharri in mind but she moved away to France the year before. So everyone I offered it to passed on it, they said it was too Broadway sounding and it is but I like Broadway plays and Musicals too! I have penned many a Broadway-like tune! So I forgot about it for years and it sat around my studio gathering Digital Dust until I offered it to Olga and she agreed to sing it! I was so elated and happy that I had found someone to sing this song which is about a woman that's in love but is in total denial! Throughout the song she insists that she's not in love until the very end when she says "Not Much!" I want to thank Olga for all her hard work on this song and for believing in it! She is currently releasing her outstanding rock opera "KOLOBOK", Check her out, she's brilliant! So after she sang it several months ago, I produced a video for it a few weeks ago AND Olga also sent me some video clips that she had made and I edited them into the video. This song I wrote back in 2010 and it's about Autumn, Memories, Golden Years, and First Loves! My favorite seasonal time of year where temps come down along with the beautiful multi-colored leaves. It's all about Halloween, Thanksgiving , family, and friends and all those wonderful memories that are associated with Autumn! That includes first loves too!  I actually got the name "Autumn Wood" from a pen at work. It was promoting a Senior Care Facility Health Campus in Indiana, basically an Old Folks Home! I loved that name and just wrote the song out of thin air. Lyrics came first and then music, as is almost always the case with my songs. Charlie did an excellent job with the singing, giving it that warmth and longing I was going after in the song. I wanted that Carpenters feeling to the song! It's really not recorded or mixed too well, I used really old equipment! The acoustic guitar turned out well, I thought! It's very mellow and Easy Listening! Not for everyone. The video is new, I just finished it last month, I tried to follow the lyrics as close as I could and tried to make Autumn Woods a place where we would all love to spend our golden years.      This song I wrote a few months ago while I was in Colombia visiting my wife's family and friends. It was a sad day and I was sitting there one afternoon, it was kind of a rainy day, looking up at the beautiful misty mountains with clouds surrounding them, very mysterious and picturesque with the city bustling below and just started playing this tune. I wrote the lyrics a few days later. The tears part was for my wife's dad that had passed away earlier this year. The song is very Spanish-flavored and very somber at times. The video I put together after I returned a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun producing it. I dropped an Easter Egg in on this one, I know all of you film enthusiasts out there will surely be able to find out which film I was hinting at! It's only on for a second towards the end. This is an instrumental collaboration with MiLu Lotus! To me, any birthday when you pass 40 is a bit of an unhappy birthday! I stopped counting at 40 many moons ago! As a matter of fact, I started counting backwards so I should be a teenager right about now!😂 I'm a Sagittarius and born on Nov 26th and there will be a special video that will be posted on Youtube around my "Unhappy Birthday", it's an ambient avant-garde kind of project so please watch carefully, it does have some strobe effects and flashbacks! There are no lyrics, just music all composed by Milu Lotus with some sights & sounds by me! This is an old instrumental piece I composed back in 2016 after my dad had passed away and I thought the dream was over. I loved him dearly and this music just came to me a few months later when I woke up from a dream in which he was in. It's just an instrumental improvisation, no lyrics but I did make a video for it, I turned it into one of my spacey videos. It will be dropping soon hopefully. Listen to it on headsets if you can because there is a lot of stereo effects going on. I'm not a skilled piano player so please forgive my fumbling around on the keyboard!            This song I wrote back in 2002 and is one of the last songs Sharri sang before she moved away to France.  It's a ballad written in a traditional 1940's style Braodway song, like Cole Porter or Irving Berlin used to write and it's about past lives and that deja vu feeling one sometimes gets when they sense they have met this person in a past life or something. I wrote it with Judy Garland in mind and I wrote it for her to sing but sadly she had passed away when I was a child. However Sharris sang it beautifully, unfortunately at the time my recording equipment was not as good as it is today so the quality is not as good. So watch the "Wizard Of Oz" and then relax, watch this video, close your eyes, and let's travel back in time using PLR. (Past Life Regression (PLR) is a type of hypnotherapy that aims to help people access memories of their past lives.      This is my new Christmas song for the year. It has a double meaning for me and that's why I call it "The Last Christmas"! Charlie did a good job singing it and I joined him in spots! I wrote it during the hot summer this year, so go figure!!😂 I used up all the tracks I had available to record it (I'm old school, give me a break!) and I had tons of fun recording all the parts too! The song at the end during the credits is another Christmas song I wrote back in 2001 called "Have A Very Merry Christmas" with Sharri singing and Charlie and me doing background vocals. Check both out I have a video each one! This video was super fun to create, I spent a lot of time and effort on it, the sleigh ride with Santa is especially cool! I added a lot of eye-candy and special audio effect here and there. This video is for the whole family so feel free to share it with loved ones and watch it together.

Now for the secret double meaning of this song!! It's a sad tale, so prepare yourselves! Back when I was in high school, back in ancient times, there was a very pretty girl in our English class named Chrissy, she was very nice and sweet, I sat next to her and she was very smart and let us dumb guys cheat off of her papers sometimes!😂 Anyway for almost the whole year I never realized that her real name was Christmas, we all called her Chrissy. There was something very sad about Chrissy, I didn't know what it was but the next year Chrissy never returned to school? Later, I found out she had leukemia, I think? She never returned to school after that and some of the kids told me she had sadly passed away however I'm not sure about that but I never did she her again. So this song is for her and after all these years she popped back in my brain?! So let's all enjoy Christmas this year with family and friends because you never know when it will be your Last Christmas! Hello everyone, I'm Jimmy from Miami Jeff and this is my Belated Christmas gift to all of you lovers of music and to all of those very talented musicians and artists that reside here on SoundCloud. This EP MONTAGE MIX is like a mini Rock or Folk Opera (with no talking) and it requires a long listen of over 18 minutes (not for everybody today, I know!). The Montage consists of 7 songs - I remixed 7 of my songs together and I also produced a very long music-video (a short film really) of this Operetta which will be out on Jan 9th on my YouTube channel -

     I hope those who take the journey with me and listen to it until the end will be surprised and entertained by it. These songs deal with life on planet Earth, with the oceans, animals, sun, birth, childhood, time, love, and death. Listen to it on headphones since there is a lot of stereo mixing and sound effects going on in the multi-mixes. I can't add all the lyrics here but the video will have all the lyrics displayed. I've never taken a music lesson in my life on any of the instruments I play (and it probably shows too!), I'm self-taught and Charlie sings most of the songs here. I also use NO A.I. NO Autotune, NO Pitch Correction, All of the songs are written by me in my basement studio so please forgive all my flubs and my mediocre vocals.      This song was written back in 2015 and it's one of my spiritual songs! It's about Faith and Hope and Prayer. I usually don't post any of my religious songs but it being so close to Christmas, I decided to share it with all my viewers and supporters. Charlie sang it beautifully back in 2015 and he played the harmonica as well, he did a great job! There are a lot of solos and a lot of key changes in this song, it's really more complex than I originally thought. The video was done earlier this year for this Christmas.

I wrote this song during the pandemic and it's very much a double entendre kind of song, one is a murder/mystery in the winter and another being a woman's heart turning cold throughout the years and dreaming of ways of killing her husband! Don't tell me you women haven't thought about that at one time or another! (just kidding, I hope!)😂  It's the other side of the coin to "Sweet Dreams". It reflects that a heart can be warm, gentle, loving, and forgiving on the one hand but another heart can be cold, cruel, wicked, and hateful! Both songs and videos were made to be seen together as one, that's why I put them back to back bridging last year with this year! I have a very much warm and empathetic heart and feel sorry for those with a callous and cold heart. Without the video, I believe the song is very haunting but beautiful, with the video it becomes cold and cruel! Sorry about that and I hope I didn't offend anyone! Charlie sang the song very well and it's a very much keyboard driven song. Lot's of audio effects thrown in for fun. I hope everyone had a great Christmas & New Years! This is a brand new song that I wrote with Bart Blue about how arguments and quarrels sometimes sever a relationship before it has had a chance to flourish. Misunderstandings and arguments should always be dealt with a clear mind and with an empathetic heart. Bart did a really good job and everybody should check out Bart's YouTube channel when you can and subscribe, he has a fabulous amount of great songs and uses NO A.I. just like me! On this song, I wrote the lyrics and added guitars and harmony vocals and produced the video and Bart wrote the music and played keyboards, Bass, Drums and provides lead & harmony vocals. It was a great collaboration and we had a lot of fun writing and recording it. Hopefully there will be many more in the future. "WE'LL NEVER KNOW"

         This song I wrote back in 1996 after a painful divorce, I was desperately searching for my soulmate at the time. Of course, I was on the rebound and it took me 8 years to find her, my current lovely wife Anita! So I guess this was my song that I had offered up to the heavens and finally my wish was granted. It's a very happy song and very poppy, like a sing-a-long in "Wicked", although I was very sad and heartbroken at the time I was writing it, I was praying for my Soulmate! I really love the lyrics so I re-recorded it during the pandemic, that is why I'm singing it, I think Charlie would have done a better job on it! The video is current, I think I made it last summer and it was a lot of fun putting it together. Check it out! -

"SOULMATE"

      This song is an odd one, I was trying to write a dreamy, spacey, kind of Pink Floyd song and this is what I came up with! Charlie sang it perfectly but the recording was muddy and didn't sound quite right, so I cleaned it up and remastered it and then I produced a video for it a couple of weeks ago. The video is brand new and it does have a pretty cool vibe to it! Very Sci-fi!! I worked hard on it and I hope you all like it!

As always in my life, she rescues me, I hate being alone and if I recall I wrote this around the time my wife was going through chemo for Breast Cancer, everything is fine now and the cancer is long gone! It was a scary time for me and hence this song! Anyone can tell how I'm feeling at a certain time by my songs, if they're sad, I was sad, if they're happy, I was happy, and so on and so forth! So this is a little different than my usual happy-go-lucky, lovey-dovey songs but one must remain versatile in life or one becomes obsolete, so they say! Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am a pretty good lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.
