Pierre Delavie, a French visual artist, practices the perceptual destabilization of public space through monumental installations.
In his exploration of the manifestation of realities, he delves—on a more intimate level—into the creation of visual and sound representation spaces, investigating the murky cognitive links that connect these two realms.
He aptly calls his sound sculptures “beaux parleurs” (“smooth speakers”).
This first album, « Dissociated Music », is an attempt to give material form—on vinyl—to his musical universe.

TAME ISLAND

A short cover of Michael Giacchino's amazing theme to the 2009 Star Trek reboot (and subsequent films). I built a big new orchestral template in Sonar, and I thought I'd have a crack at the theme to see how it (and my computer) handled - I'm quite happy with it! I didn't actually listen to the theme before I made this, so I think there will be a few wrong notes here and there. Just live with it, guys.

Using samples entirely from the Hollywood Orchestra Gold libraries from EastWest.  Enjoy, and then go listen to the ACTUAL score, which poops all over this.
