These vocals nearly killed me, more of a songwriter than a singer. Next song I write might only have a 3 step range!...Dementia, Alzheimer's is a terrible reality for so many. I wrote the first verse from the perspective of the afflicted one and the second verse from the caregiver’s . The cover art is being created before I release on the streamers in early 2025, but here it is for meySoundClouders. I promise, the next song will be a more joyful tune...I hope!

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this 'Long Road' and to all the players who have shared their immense talents with me on this journey. This song is a bit campy. The core of this thing is pure Isley Brothers' formula from the 70s -- they had these no nonsense, hard slamming funk songs that just went on forever (and you want them to). And there's also a healthy dose of 80s/90s slinky funk guilty pleasures like Grace Jones, Sade, & Seal.
