LuverObeat are a band formed in  Italy in 2013 by T. and Alexandra. Coming from different musical backgrounds, such as Classical Music, Jazz, 60’s garage and freakbeat, after one year of rehearsals they developed their own sound and decided to self-release their debut album in 2014, a 7 original songs-cd entirely played by the duo.The result is an odd formula (called by themselves “freakadelic beat”) which consists of an old-fashioned atmosphere gained through the acid growl of the 60’s combo vox and farfisa organs, the beat of the glorious vintage Ludwig drums and the timeless tone of the Vox and Rickenbacker guitars. Anyway, this retro feeling is improved by “that something” certainly unusual for the classic 3-chords style being far away from the trap of the (maltreated) “garage rock” clichés.
