Temple, out September 16th on Gravitas Recordings, is a perfect blend of west coast bass and ethereal melodies truly capturing the full Orenda style.  He has released amazing music for years now on Gravitas and other labels, and this recent work is his highest quality with extreme attention to detail and sound design.  It still has the Orenda world-music, ethereal vibe, but with more festival and club-ready tracks.
Orenda describes it as “A journey style EP arranged from highest to lowest energy. Focusing on a fusion of ethnic, world music rhythms and instruments, blended with dark West-Coast bass music.”

The opening track “Temple” brings this high energy to the forefront with tribal bass and captivating percussion building into a heavy drop of clean wubs and growls that pull the listener into a trance.  “Unbound” dives into beautiful background vocal chops and string plucks, again building into heavier bass and growls but not losing the original ethnic soundscape created.  “Eclipse” brings down the energy in a journey through world vocals and organic textures, dropping with deep bass and enchanting synth stabs that brings a nostalgic feel and perfect blend of his two energetic sides.  “Sanctum” builds further into this lower energy ethereal vibe while still incorporating smaller growls and unreal sound design from the previous tracks, another one that throws the listener into another world.  “Nightfall” closes the EP with perfect natural soundscapes and organic textures and foley to transport the listener into a jungle of sound, the whole track teases the heavier aspects and builds into one final drop that leaves us wanting more in a perfect way.

Mr. Ours brings his edgy bass, glitch-hop, and old-school dubstep sound while Lil Fish adds his blend of world and bass music. All these elements come together to create a listening experience that’s beautiful and inspiring, while strong and powerful. The two artists first talked about creating one song, but had such good chemistry together they ended up creating five songs for the EP "

Lil Fish is a French DJ and producer of deep, bewitching, evasive, and powerful bass music that has crafted his unique sound. Heavy beats mixed with Asian or Eastern European sounds take us to a mystical universe as melodious and luminous as raw and dark. Lil Fish released his 1st album Fusion in 2016, notably collaborating with artists from the French electronic scene such as CloZinger (CloZee+Scarfinger), Al'Tarba, and Arure.
He followed up with 4 EPs including a collaboration with CloZee hailed by critics and the public, along with a multitude of remixes and collaborations for Gravitas Recordings's artists.
His last EP Crossroads (feat Mr Ours) was released on Odyzey records and CloZee continues to be a big supporter, often playing Lil Fish tracks in her sets including Red Rocks and huge festival headlines. Lil Fish's DJ sets are sharp and take the audience on an energetic, powerful and melodious journey.
