Under her alias, Susanne Kirchmayr has continued on her ascetic path and overcame colleagues who quipped that techno was the music of the past, with sets built on expertly crafted percussion loops and intelligent sampling behind the decks at just about every club you can name. Joining us this episode is the Canticle Records label boss and groove machine Assumption. Hailing from the french capital, this young DJ and producer has been consistently pushing his own minimalistic and puristic vision of techno through well-crafted sets and equally impressive releases. His sound is tight, polished and yet at the same time spacey and imaginitive, allowing the listener to drift off into the depths of his own mind. This set is a mental journey par excellence, through rhythmic excursions and dotted with sounds that defy explanation.
