One must be ignorant talking about Hamburg without bringing up the dynamic music scene the Hanseatic city is famous for. Musical creativity is prospering when there are like-minded people. The Lee Shore, das sind zwei Frauen und zwei Männer aus Hamburg, die durch ihre Passion für Psychedelic- und Indie/Alternative-Rock zusammenfanden. Die Begeisterung für Bands wie The National, Grizzly Bear, Temples, Junip oder Jacco Gardner ist in ihrer Musik hörbar. Mit zwei Gitarren, mehrstimmigem Gesang, Keyboard, Bass und Schlagzeug sowie jeder Menge Hingabe und Spielfreude, erzeugen The Lee Shore einen vielschichtigen Sound. Mal treibend, mal melancholisch und voller Überraschungen – vom ersten bis zum letzten Akkord! Mitte 2013 beendete „The Lee Shore“ die Arbeit an ihrer EP (diese ist u.a. auf iTunes, amazon oder spotify erhältlich). Music to me is more than just artistic expression. It's a spiritual vehicle. A mechanism to transport emotion. Regardless of whether you know or believe in God. I think it is just ONE way God moves among us. It can impart anointing, healing, restoration and peace. It can incite hatred, anger and rage. It can inspire, exhort, elevate and magnify or it can tear down, accuse and despair. No doubt about it music is powerful indeed.

I believe it is a most regal calling to "create" music even as the creator creates. It is in OUR nature to do the same. I hope to inspire you with my little contribution here. I am perhaps "washed up" by the world's standards. But here on this page I can resonate forever.
