I was deeply saddened by the passing of Keith Emerson. It has been a very difficult few months. We’ve lost several giants. This is a very short but potent homage I wrote for Keith several years ago. I am so sorry that I never got to share it with him. He was a giant as a pianist, organist and synthesist. His playing was outstanding and he gave us so much great music for nearly fifty years.

Looking back at my musical influences and I guess the most was ELP ,  Keith Emerson, Robert Berry,  and so many more .  It all started at 14 years of age for me.  But learning to play, and continuing to do so just a few years ago.    And though I will never be in that distinctive class I try and learn and learn... One day, I suddenly start to think that this wonderful song is blues.  I checked the chord progression on the guitar.  I started to be confident that the blues three chords would be a perfect fit for this song.  After finding the three chords that fit this song, I checked the melody line.  I thought it would be good to grasp the vocal melody line in order to confirm the scale that fits this work.  I decided to record the process.  I want you to forgive me for this recording being pretty rough.  Because this recording is just a quick note for confirmation. 
I'm sure it will help you practice your guitar.  Those practicing guitar need to know that blue note chord progressions and scales are quite different from Western music.
Please take this opportunity to check the relationship between the blues chord progression and the blue note scale.

Mary , Queen of Scots (8 December 1542 – 8 February 1587), also known as Mary Stuart, queen of Scotland (1542–67) and queen consort of France (1559–60). Her unwise marital and political actions provoked rebellion among the Scottish nobles, forcing her to flee to England, where she was eventually beheaded as a Roman Catholic threat to the English.
The scene to the soundtrack:
In the May sunshine, Mary and her 2nd husband Lord Darnley her cousin went to ride to the Scottish
woodlands.It all seemed like a dream, the wild ride, the strange smells and sounds.
They should have a race. Mary loved to ride and to ride fast. A horn sounded, it notes oddly out of
place where no hunters were.
