Here I just used a few passages from the Book of Isaiah, chapter 14, sung in Italian over the Francesco and Rosin beautiful collaboration. This powerful chapter in the Old Testament compares the king of Babylon to Lucifer, the fallen angel. In the troubled history of mankind we were never short of kings of Babylon. Perhaps someday...

Was happy to participate in another Josh Clary jam!  
This one has an awesome vocal from Steve's Planet and the usual line up brings it here as well with...

Tez ripping the guitar rhythm and leads
Ken pounding out the beatz and 
JJ making it pretty with those keys. 
I was able to work in the solo in the second half and, with the help of K2 Ken get out a solid production with a nice mix and master.   I believe Tez may have added a bit as well to the post production. 

Basically it was really a true group effort.   Josh is really good with keeping things group focused and having the whole band work within his idea and vision for a song and yet still having the ability to contribute your own unique sounds.

Another fun time with a great group!

Second Floor  - (Eclectic Collective)

When I first heard this song on Kyle's (Ultrasonic Pest Repellant-- @ultrasonic_pest_repellent ) page, I immediately was drawn to it. I love the sitar, and he had just released a batch of unfinished sitar ideas. So, he let me play with this one. To his guitar, bass, sitar, and drums, I added an organ and a lap slide part. I really had a lot of fun with this one, as it was a real challenge to get right. If you're not familiar with Kyle's music, do yourself a favor and check it out! We hope you like our collaboration.

This one is kind of an experimental deal.  The main riff has 12 guitars, each with something different about it.  Each of the 12 lines was played on a different guitar.  Some are tuned in octaves to the others, some from a mic'd amp, some from sims etc.. 
I wasn't going for a tight doubled guitar sound like you normally want, I wanted the sound of a dozen guitars sounding like a big loud thing.  
The beat for this comes from one of my friend's son, Zack, who is new to all of this and is just learning his DAW at age 19 and this was written on top of his beat so thanks Zack!
Also big thanks to Stonerjazz for the title and to Rekha for the amazing background vocal in this!
