'Tender Wishes' is a song by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, here sung in English, translated from the original French song 'Les Tendres Souhaits' aka 'Que ne suis-je la fougère', (See the complete French lyrics by Ribouette below).
The melody is by Pergolesi and the harmony, singing and nyckelharpa playing is by Marianne Lihannah.

Pergolesi, was an Italian Baroque composer, violinist and organist. Born Jan. 4, 1710, Jesi, Italy—died March 16, 1736, Pozzuoli at just 26 years old by Tuberculosis.

The lyricist is Ribouette and in this recording, 2 verses of the original 3 verses are sung. Verse no 2 is here played with two nyckelharpas. The harmony part is improvised under the Pergolesi melody.

A special thanks to the wonderful nyckelharpa player Didier Francois, who has helped me with playing this song on the nyckelharpa as well as teaching me improvisation on the nyckelharpa.

This song is also a grade song on ABRSM's classical repertoire list.

This is a song that Frans wrote and was kind enough to share with me. He's playing everything except the mandolin and guitar, which includes bass, banjo, fiddle, and dobro. I'm always so very impressed with Frans, and honored that he would allow me to play with his songs. He also mixed and edited this song in a most professional way, as well. We hope you enjoy the final product.

Was happy to participate in another Josh Clary jam!  
This one has an awesome vocal from Steve's Planet and the usual line up brings it here as well with...
Josh on the monster bass
Tez ripping the guitar rhythm and leads
Ken pounding out the beatz and 
JJ making it pretty with those keys. 
I was able to work in the solo in the second half and, with the help of K2 Ken get out a solid production with a nice mix and master.   I believe Tez may have added a bit as well to the post production. 

Basically it was really a true group effort.   Josh is really good with keeping things group focused and having the whole band work within his idea and vision for a song and yet still having the ability to contribute your own unique sounds.

RED FLAG FRENZY LOOP

This one is kind of an experimental deal.  The main riff has 12 guitars, each with something different about it.  Each of the 12 lines was played on a different guitar.  Some are tuned in octaves to the others, some from a mic'd amp, some from sims etc.. 
I wasn't going for a tight doubled guitar sound like you normally want, I wanted the sound of a dozen guitars sounding like a big loud thing.  
The beat for this comes from one of my friend's son, Zack, who is new to all of this and is just learning his DAW at age 19 and this was written on top of his beat so thanks Zack!
Also big thanks to Stonerjazz for the title and to Rekha for the amazing background vocal in this!

This is a song that Tez (Llanpsych) came up with by creating a dope beat and laying some killer guitar over it. He then sent it to me, and I added some 5 string fretless bass and some electrified mandolin. I had a lot of fun making this one with Tez. He also produced and mixed the whole thing, expertly, as always. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it.

We Have Ways of Making You Dance (with Llanpsych)

This is a song in a style similar to some old Jerry Reed songs.  I grew up with a lot of that music around and I still have an affinity for it.   
Now, having  Jeff sing it and write the lyrics is where the genius comes in haha.  When we were working on the last Smoking Trout New Mexico song I showed the gang some art and it had the Toad in the desert.  Jeff asked me if all the people on the bus licked the toad.  Haha, I said of course what do you think.  
So this is a continuation of sorts of a theme.  Like when you have a character on a show from another show as that same character.   Think Joanie & Chachi or Saul Goodman. The Toad now has a spin off.
I thought he did a great job with the narration style that these songs typically are written with.   And the lyrics speak for themselves. Enjoy!

Hurry To Dive

This is a song that originated with Steve of Steve's Planet. He came up with a really cool guitar instrumental and the vocals, which he is very passionately singing, while travelling through the primordial forests of Central Europe and shared it with all of us. I added the bass and the electric piano. Tez (Llanpsych) added the really cool guitar parts that sound like orchestral violins. Ken (K2 and the Three, and K2 and the Four) added the perfectly complimentary rolling drums. Stephen (TexMex Shaman) added the awesome, trippy sitar and pulled the whole thing together as an expert producer and mixer. Tez also mastered it. Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it.
