VALENTINE

I wrote it as an immersive experience, channeling that overwhelming feeling of obsession and the desire to destroy before being destroyed. “Oh Well” is the first single off my upcoming project I've poured my soul into. It’s a song about finally letting go of the pressure to be who everyone else wants you to be, and learning to be okay with who you actually are. 

I got to work with Ouse on this, whose music I've admired for a long time. His voice carries this quiet pain that fit so naturally with the message of the track. We blended that with my Alt R&B roots, some pop melodies, and electronic textures to try and capture something that felt raw but still beautiful with prod by Zaq Sawyer Coffey.
