ImRam –
Hailing from deep in the beautiful Caucasian mountains, bordering the Caspian Sea, ImRam is a Kriya yogi and healer whose music transcends borders, race and religion. Infectiously mixing chants, mantras, beats, electronica and guitars his songs evoke images both within and without. Expansive soundscapes conjure up mountains and fast-flowing water while a rich tonal warmth brings an internal feeling of serenity and peace.
ImRam believes that you hear music through your entire body, not just your ears. Take your experiences in clubs and gigs for example, and the feeling of loud sound on your skin: the lower the frequency, the further down your body you feel it. The songs on ‘Ever New Joy’ are tonally arranged to progressively resonate up through your chakras creating a sense of wholesome well-being and who knows what for the more sensitive among you.

This is true one-world music bringing together a plethora of styles from Sufi, Indian ragas, Celtic motifs, Vedic mantras, shamanic voices from the Yakuts and Yamal people, modern rock and trance - each song a single coherent story weaving classical, ethnic and contemporary instruments. ImRam’s bhajans and kirtans (Sanskrit and Hindi mantras) are brought up-to-date with modern arrangements in a uniquely powerful way.
