I Loveless Whizzkid sono un trio di ventenni da Catania, con una formazione cristallizzata già da quando i tre erano abbondantemente minorenni, che nel tempo ha inglobato nella sua matrice distorta e rumorosa cospicue sorsate di psichedelia allucinata, arrivando ad un impasto di energie instabili che trova il suo sfogo più autentico in live di forte impatto. 
L’album di debutto, “We were only trying to sleep”, uscirà il 10 febbraio per Seahorse Recordings. Registrato e mixato dalle sapienti mani ed orecchie di Sacha Tilotta ed impreziosito dal mastering di Bob Weston, il disco punta a rievocare su disco le sensazioni e le dinamiche del palco, e forse ancor di più quelle del garage sotto casa. Probabilmente ispirato da nomi come My Bloody Valentine, Gong, Pavement e Yo La Tengo, alterna dolci rasoiate distorte alla grande tensione dei momenti più tranquilli, percorso da melodie vocali sbilenche ma attente.

Cosmopolitan is truly descriptive of Lena Tufenkjian’s life. She grew up in Europe, began studying piano at the age of five—displaying rare talent—subsequently attending 
several French music conservatories in Paris, France. After graduating with a French and Music Baccalaureate, Lena moved with her family to the U.S. She attended 
California State University, Northridge and completed her Bachelors Degree Cum Laude in Music Composition. Her music awards include: the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and the Forum Music Festival 
(Gold and Silver recipient). 
Lena has stunning vocal abilities, which positioned her well as a Choral Director at schools in Long Beach, California for three years. Finding that she loves sharing the joy of music education with kids, she then established her own studio teaching piano, voice and guitar: www.dreammusicstudios.com 
Currently Lena is the Career Development Coordinator at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Her broad music knowledge, multilingual abilities (French, Armenian, English), deep compassion and international background serve her well at this globally-’centric 
institution.And, oh yes! Composing in several music genres continues to be a priority for Lena.

Neural Synapse is a collaboration between KBellz Roswell and myself, Alan Martinke.  We have been creating on and off for the last 3.5yrs, although more recently we've gotten away from playing live shows, and concentrated more on the studio aspect.  All our songs are written by us, with no help, and are all recorded right here.  We spend alot of time coming up with just the right formats, sound scapes, patches and so on....  Neural Synapse's music is a wide range between funk, to down tempo, with hints of jazz and blues thrown in.  Sometimes we get completely free style and just improvise, which can lead to some of the best tunes out there!!! I enjoyed playing the role of both Bass player and lead keyboards, B3, Rhodes, and Synth parts.  It was a fun band that lasted a little over a decade, but life just made it hard to continue on in this small town...  Please always remember AQUAPHONICS, and never forget Neural Synapse! Vespers is a beat-making robot sent back in time from the year 2502. He was banished from the future for repeat offenses of making excessively bass-heavy noises, leading to irreparable structural damage to the downtown core of Neo Tokyo. It is reported that his long-time sidekick and party companion “Go-Go”, a biogenetically enhanced feneks fox, also travelled back in time to join him in his exile.

Vespers is known for his extensive and unpredictable glitches, which cause him to randomly spout tibbits of music production wizardry and secret techniques to virtually anyone who will listen. Kind of like the robot equivalent of Turrets Syndrome. You can see hours of videos of him waxing poetic about all kinds of audio geekery on his Youtube channel. Legend has it that getting sent back in time was all part of his “master plan” to create a legion of bass worshipers who will take over the future.

Although he isn’t human, he does have an puzzling affinity for jazz music and a fascinating preoccupation with saxophones. You can frequently catch him wreaking bassy-havoc and inciting funk-infused dancefloor mayhem at all kinds of music festivals and West Coast gatherings.
