PHDM's first narrative compilation features five new songs from Unsub , N0isemakeR , Alexis K and the debut of Josie Gets Naked on the label.

Title track 'Slowburn' is a deep brooding journey into the recesses of the void, featuring dark swelling bass, haunting vocals and trance inducing melodic synths forming a groove much slower than Unsub & N0isemakeR's typical fast paced affairs.

'Bentwing Ascends' navigates a path through driving melodic tones and contemplative vibes as Alexis K & Unsub explore themes of grief, loss and finding the light in darker places.

'Life Or Something Like It' is a UK funky/garage influenced stepper by PHDM newcomer Josie Gets Naked sets the scene for a pensive wander through the sonic seaside, with washing basslines rolling through a misty harbor.

'Nexus' by N0isemakeR takes us through a more upbeat swing, stepping into the sunshine with ethereal vocals and pads bounced along with funky drums to explore the feeling of freedom after escaping the inner world.

Rounding out the journey is the first new drum and bass production from Alexis K in over 10 years. Haunting, driving and determined; 'The View Askewed' looks back at the path taken with a new perspective, a lamentation on the passing of time but with a newfound resolve that drives the next step into the future.

Slowburn EP is the first in a new direction of storytelling from the PHDM family, look out for more multi-genre releases coming soon!

Oh my days. Dragon Dreaming 2024 was an absolute dream. That location. The music. The people. Friends, new and old. What a refresh!
The past year has been a whirlwind of pure magic, challenges and new experiences, and somehow, it feels like all roads led straight to Dragon. 🐲 

A weekend to reflect and enjoy the disconnect from the "real world" and connect with the Dragon fam. Truly overjoyed and my soul is filled to the brim with gooey goodness.

A massive thank you to Cam Volkeine and the team at Dragon for having me back this year. It was an absolute belter of a party and an absolute pleasure to spin tunes on the Fire Stage at 1am on Saturday. The crowd had such an infectious energy, it was electric. On a massive high from that.

Big shoutout to Heath, Boony, and the crew at HB Sound & Lighting for that epic rig. Always a bloody good time blasting tunes through your system.

YAKKA is an electronic-focused music producer from the top of the South Island, New Zealand, crafting a unique blend of bass music designed for outdoor parties.

This set centers around danceability and progression, drawing influence from the hypnotic elements of Psy and Techno while carrying the essence of Kiwiana Dub and Drum & Bass.

The aim was to take a “less is more” approach, using drawn-out mixes to create a subtle yet seductive energy—something that pulls the listener in without overwhelming them. It’s about building a deep, hypnotic atmosphere that feels immersive and fluid, allowing people to lose themselves in the groove

Closing the Guya Guya (lake) Stage on Sunday at Dragon Dreaming was an absolute privilege and honour. The energy on that dancefloor was electric, and I felt completely lifted and connected after such a beautiful weekend.
