Here’s what I do:

•	Composing/Songwriting/Co-writing
•	Mixing/Mastering and Musical Collaboration
•	Create Instrumental tracks to support artists

•	Guitar, Bass, Virtual Instruments 

I've added Music Producer input with Mixing/Mastering and Songwriting/collaboration:  Supporting artists providing much, if not all, that they need to create finished tracks.

Played guitar for decades, and music is my first love.

Having been on one side of the recording studio “glass” in the past, I wanted to build the capability to produce and Mix and Master my own material.  

So, I purpose built a Mixing/Mastering Studio with correctly calibrated acoustic treatment to avoid phase and comb filtering, and developed Mix and Master skills over a decade.  

Then I discovered a love for creating tracks collaborating and contributing musically with like-minded people: Singers/Songwriters/Musicians, Mixing/Mastering Engineers and Producers.

SOUND PRODUCTION:
My aim is to collaboratively help others to create the best music that is in them:  I mix, master, create music to accompany and enhance existing works, co-write and write/compose, play guitar, and in essence produce.

VOCALS:  
I spend a lot of time working with artists to help them achieve outstanding vocal performances, and then take great care to mix tracks paying exacting attention to detail to the lead vocals to make them the best they can be .  It’s AMAZING just how good a vocal can sound when it’s enhanced the right way.

MUSIC CREATION: 
•	I specialize in Guitar, and can also create bass pieces and keyboard pieces.  
•	I have extensive high-end sample libraries to cover a broad range of instruments from just about every genre there is, including Orchestral pieces (Strings, Brass, Woodwind, Percussion), jazz, folk, Pop, Soul, etc etc.
•	Authentic sounding drum/percussion pieces can be created where needed.  

Drums and Percussion:  I have an extensive set of unquantized grooves and can fashion them into a unique groove to match a piece.  Most listeners would swear they are real, and in essence they are - they are immaculately recorded kit pieces with many velocity layers and articulations.  Often I actually replace drum/percussion kit piece mix tracks capturing the players nuances, and transfer this expression into high end sounding kit pieces.

BACKGROUND:

I was born in Sydney Australia, grew up in Melbourne Australia, and have been living in the US since 2007.  My wife is from the States, and we now live happily in LA.

Since listening to the first Beatles 45 records my parents played, I was hooked.  Great music takes me to such a sublime space when it's the real deal.  In my teens I jammed with many talented people, and actually worked out many of the 60s and 70s songs my friends loved (literally worked out Beatles songs for example note for note).  There has been a LOT of growth since then and I love the diversity of musical genres.

I love to mix new melodic pieces people are writing and performing, and have built a formidable suite of first rate capabilities to create professional mixes for up and coming artists.  My "edge" is I REALLY know music, and feel it deeply, which translates into the care I take in bringing out the best in the mix.

I believe most of us unconsciously build a "soundtrack" to our lives, and sometimes music is at the bedrock of those special moments that MOVES us to a better place - You know what I mean?
