As part of our ongoing series of Line Noise episodes to celebrate Nitsa’s 30th anniversary, I spoke to Marea Stamper aka The Blessed Madonna, an American, DJ and producer who holds Nitsa close to her heart. We talked about her memories of playing the club, Mid-West raves, being massive by stealth, calls from Kylie and taking Chicago house into the major-label system. “I might be early but i’m not wrong,” she says.
