Release day! This fourth podcast of the Elata Series features Markellos, a Greek artist based in East London. Markellos started his musical journey because he wanted to dive deeper into electronic music. Passionate about crafting and discovering his own sound, he delivers a music which is a deeply personal expression. His sound is minimal with plenty of spatial elements in the tracks. Always seeking to craft beautiful sonic landscapes that evokes  euphoria and invites listeners to dance and enjoy their body.

We are extremely proud to introduce him with this podcast. As a new emerging artist from the London scene, he respesents the core of what Elata is: a platform of musical expression and experimentation for any talented people in the underground scene.

Disociativo es un concepto que se da a por la creación del proyecto personal artístico del DJ y Productor Colombiano, Esteban Acosta; uniendose asi al estilo del Techno Hipnotico. Su papel es poder brindarle a sus oyentes una perspectiva entre las frecuencias sonoras que se crean entre el espacio en conexión con el oído humano, centrando su experiencia con instrumentos percutivos de rasgos latinos que lo llevan a entrelazar sonidos rotos y  atmósferas binaurales  que se unen para alterar la escucha humana.

The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.
