Fuelled by an endless fascination with sound in all its forms, OTON has spent over a decade navigating the vast spectrum of electronic music through producing, mixing, mastering, and DJing — with live performance at the heart of his explorations in all sorts of mental and hypnotic techno.In 2021, he launched Alliance Club, initially as a platform to share his own music with a growing audience. Today, the project has evolved into an independent collective, party series and imprint, known for its integrity and support of alternative artists and scenes. Alliance Club now holds residencies at some of Belgium's most iconic institutions, including Botanique, Fuse, C12, and Listen Festival. After previously exploring sonic territories characterized by breakbeat rhythms, psychedelic textures, tribal drumming, and raw mental energy, OTON unveiled his critically acclaimed LP, New Forms of Silence, in March 2025. This landmark release marked a decisive and profound shift in his artistic direction, signaling a new chapter in his sonic evolution. This autumn, OTON is set to return with its highly anticipated sequel, New Forms of Silence 2. This new offering delves even deeper into the introspective and resonant side of techno, embracing dubbier elements while demonstrating a clear reverence for the genre's classic roots. Yet, OTON continuously pushes the boundaries of sound design, infusing each track with his unmistakable signature, all released under the Alliance Club banner.

Amniote Editions resurfaces with the HbA capsule, a dual release pairing the debut album from Hasvat Informant and his Intellagama moniker with a 21-track digital compilation, that coils through ambient, IDM, experimental, techno, trance and beyond.

Refraction of Light Vol. II gathers 21 artists linked by place yet divergent in expression, charting a fluid passage of moods, drifting from first light to nightfall.

The compilation’s framing draws from its title: like light refracting on the horizon of a long drive, it bends shifting sounds and perspectives into a shared vision shaped by distance, connection, and the landscapes in between.

In the same way, Amniote Editions’ capsules provide fertile ground for music to evolve — nurturing divergent practices, experimental forms, and cross-genre encounters. Refraction of Light Vol. II extends this lineage, binding artists through place and possibility, and echoing so-called Australia’s role as a cradle of creative life within its worldwide snakeweb.

10% of profits from this compilation will be donated to Palestine Australia Relief and Action (PARA) [para.org.au]. PARA help Palestinian migrants and refugees live safe, happy, and fulfilling lives in Australia.

Conceived on the land of the Gadigal peoples of the Eora Nation, the project acknowledges the traditional custodians of this country, paying respect to elders past and present, and recognising that sovereignty was never ceded.
