There are times when the weight of the world rests heavily on your shoulders, and your tired soul finds itself wandering around lost and unsure of the path it must set upon. The thoughts echo inside of your mind as your feet continue to drag, “Who am I...? Where do I belong...? When will these burdens disperse and become specks of dust carried off with the wind?” And then, unexpectedly there comes a serene moment that releases you from the distress and it’s the moment in which you decide for yourself to take a leap of faith and flutter into the open-air.

This EP displays a diversity of warm colours, travel stories and distant melodies.

Tantale is center piece of this release: a percussive and energetic story that started in Mexico and reached its full elevation when the inspiring Québec-based healer and musician Ra*faelle added her voice to Kora’s instrumental piece. Rooted in nature’s frequencies, she improvises in what she humbly describes as Earth Language. A mystical way of channeling nature’s vibrations into sound.

Isis, the hieroglyphs depict Wulsa, was one of the most famous figures in ancient Khemit and was one of the great Ennead (the nine masters/principles in the creation process) consisting of Atum, Tehuti, Hat-hoor, Sekhmet, Khnum, Sobek, Wulsa, Horus and Osiris. 

Wulsa is the Master of healing and motherhood as well as the protectress of women and children. Wulsa was a mighty queen during the reign of Osiris, her husband. She is the Master associated with the healing energy of the full moon.

Sounds of Khemit feels the unconditional love that Wulsa radiates to the whole world. Her love, devotion and magical healing abilities are our corner stone in bringing light from darkness.
