Their newest single, “Cocaine Bear,” is the second single off of their upcoming album, “New Life Will Grow.” The name captures the chaotic energy in endless time signature changes, with an underlying feeling of hope in metaphorical lyrics. Coast Arcade are an indie-rock powerhouse from Auckland, New Zealand, injecting new life into guitar-driven music with their explosive energy and fresh take on the sounds of the 90s and early 2000s. Formed in high school and now operating as a fully self-managed and full-time act, the band’s four members - Bella Bavin (vocals/guitar), Leo Spykerman (bass/vocals), Arlo Birss (guitar), and Thom Boynton (drums) - bring together backgrounds in indie, metal, punk, and shoegaze to form a sound that’s bold, melodic, and built for the stage.
