It's the comeback of Switchy Dub on Culture Dub Records, which, like a phoenix, after the release in 2018 of the album "God vs Evil" which already exploded the boundaries of the style, followed by several Eps in the company of Dirty Live Dub, come again with "Re-Birth", transcending the genre once again by mixing Electro, Dub, Stepper and Bass Music sounds, for six tracks available for free download of course!

Switchy Dub draws his inspiration from some French Dub pioneers such as High Tone and Zenzile, as well as the Hardtek scene in order to deliver a powerful sound as part of the Electro-Stepper movement with Panda Dub, Mahom, Ondubground and more… The dubmaker from Paris, Switchy Dub, released ‘God Vs Evil’ for free download on Culture Dub Records in 2018, eleven-track combining Electro-Dub and Hard Stepper featuring Monkey D, Jennifer Paulos, Imanytree, Lofti and Ultra-K! A first album which brought the Parisian producer on the international Dub scene!

After spending more than 2 years in his home studio collaborating with many dubmakers, SwitchyDub is back with a brand new EP: "Re-Birth". Like a rebirth, this opus is intended to be more airy and is distinguished by its heavy and intoxicating sounds. The tone changes, the music is more thoughtful, the sound is more enriched. Introducing the second release in the dub conductor digital dubplate series!! Nano dub was made in our Marseille studio in April 2019. The track features a bass guitar sample which has been distorted to create a really wild and deep sound. It's a real skanker with 1000 different snares, plenty of authentic percussion and a 'womping' repetitive upper bass lick. The versions take the listener into multiple different dimensions with their excessive use of  phasers, panning, echos and reverbs, all mixed and performed live in a real dub style.

SOLID AS THE CLOCK

Solid As The Clock (2020) is the solo album by the Spanish singer High Paw. It has been produced, recorded and edited in collaboration with the music label Cool Up Records. Including 7 songs and a “bonus track”, the album will be available on different formats as vinyl, CD and also for digital download. In ‘Solid As The Clock’, High Paw is expressing her views or concerns on different issues on Digital Reggae and Rub a Dub riddims. Those are genres that fit especially High Paw’s style as she flows easily. Evoking the elegance and protest from the deejay style in the 80s, her music combines entertaining at the same time that points out cultural issues. Including catchy lyrics with a conscious background.  

The visual art has been made by another member of the music label, Mr John Vanilla. Adding his unique style to this project, inspired by comics, super heroes and animation series. He has created an artwork that represents the album and its message. To sum up, this album is the result of a combination of many talented artists, including great musicians who make shine every instrument in the right measure.
