Greetings, we want to invite you to listen to  '100% Keety Roots production' mix with us, which we hope will prepare you properly for our event next week at Warsaw's Voodoo club. Keety Roots' discography dates back to early 90s, when he released the immortal 'African Blood' with Tenastelin on vocals and a couple of 10"s together with Mystic Red project, as well as producing tons of dubplates for Aba Shanti I. More recently he has focused on dropping limited edition 10" polyvinyl singles of his exclusive dubs, and of course between 2000 and 2015 he released a couple of dozen very well received productions with a variety of vocalists in his unique style. We've done our best to do a quick, nearly hour-long, mix through last 3 decades of productions from Black Legacy studio with a few tunes you'll no doubt remember from sessions with us here and there. All 100% from our favourite format of music. 
Relax, fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride. And in a week's time, on Saturday 29 April, we kick off long May weekend at Roots Revival Soundsystem meets Keety Roots. Let's go, let's go!

Jou jou, zapraszamy do posłuchania z nami “100% Keety Roots production” miksu, który mamy nadzieję przygotuje was odpowiednio na nasz przyszłotygodniowy event w warszawskim klubie Voodoo. Dyskografia Keety Rootsa sięga lat 90tych, kiedy to wydał nieśmiertelne ‘African Blood’ z Tenastellinem na wokalu i kilka 10” jako projekt Mystic Red, a także produkował tony dubplates dla Aba Shanti I. Ostatnio skupił się na wrzucaniu limitowanych serii 10” singli ekskluzywnych dubów, a pomiędzy w latach 2000-2015 wydał paredziesiąt bardzo dobrze przyjętych produkcji z przeróżnymi wokalistami w swoim unikalnym stylu. Postaraliśmy się zrobić szybki, blisko godzinny przekrój przez ostatnie 3 dekady produkcji ze studia Black Legacy z paroma numerami, które napewno pamiętacie z sesji z naszym udziałem tu i tam. Wszystko 100% z naszego ulubionego nośnika.

Jalapeno Records releases the first set of remixes from London based soul singer and songwriter Izo FitzRoy’s stellar album ‘ A Good Woman’ by in demand Dutch producer Moods, and UK rising star Sam Redmore.
With a rare combination of powerful vocals, honest song writing, and dynamic live performances, FitzRoy's music is a unique and captivating blend of soul, gospel and spiritual blues.
‘Give Me The High’ was the second single that showcased a different side of the album. Now the single has been given a make-over by the hugely successful while still underground producer, Moods. The northern soul style drumming and organic funk of the original has been replaced with a jazzier, synth powered slant from the dextrous Dutchman whose own works have been sampled by some titans of the US hip hop scene. ‘Chasing Days’ is a love song. The gospel vocals, broken beats and uplifting piano have drawn fevered comparisons with classic and contemporary acts from Rotary Connection to 4 Hero. Now the single has been given a make-over by Sam Redmore, who gives the track a summer dancefloor tweak. Redmore ups the BPM and toughens up the drums with the essence of the sweet original remaining respectfully intact.

In celebration of Hip Hop's 50th year, we've teamed up with London based ‘Classic Material’ to present a chronologically themed series of mixtapes celebrating the history of recorded Rap music, mixed by Chris Read. Alongside the Hip Hop series, this companion Breaks series takes our re-cap of Rap History a level deeper, this time reconstructing the classics of the Hip Hop canon from their constituent sample material. Arranged chronologically of course, this seventh volume pieces together popular Hip Hop tunes from the year of 1992, utilising only the Funk, Soul, Rock, Jazz and Disco tracks from which they were originally constructed - over 150 breaks in the mix! Artwork pays homage to Paul Winley's iconic 'Super Disco Brakes' compilation series.
