“Embustero y Bailarín” was composed in 1967 by my father, Lucas Sainz, and became one of Los Pekenikes’ most iconic instrumentals. I grew up hearing my dad play it on acoustic guitar, so this piece holds deep personal meaning. Later adapted with lyrics by Luis Aguilé in 1975, the melody now returns in a neoclassical solo piano version—my tribute to its timeless beauty and emotional depth, reimagined with passion and cinematic sensitivity.
