Cast down, with complete and utter disregard into the dark. 
Crashing down

from all the plethora surfaces and textures, 
each more grating than the previous. 
Aimlessly ricocheting we remain until no more. 
And that is when darkness settles once again. 
After we have shedded our essence,
With no shred of our past radiance left,
Until no gamut remains
We abate.

Where is the mercy, the grace?
Why must we be violated like this?
Not with a conscience benign, that is conspicuous…

Ever was the dichotomy more evident, 
never was the inevitable peril
so blatantly presented to us 
in its repugnantly glorious, meticulous concertation. 
For everything, 
couldn’t anything have been in any other way?
We plead,
But only our dread rebounds. 
Must it be like this?
Why o’ why?
We cry
On our sojourn odyssey;
wry.
	
Is this not neglect?
	Is this not meditated?
	Is this not by design?

Our hearts,
Encumbered with the brewing disdain,
Alchemy most primal, 
Turning flesh into clumps of cancerous lead,
Heavy and cold poisoning our intent,
Merely expedites our descent,
Our resolve,
Set in stone,
And the tombstone akin to a placenta
In the other end of our umbilical cord,
Tangled up in a hangknot,
Collar tightly around our neck.

This isn’t for the best.
This isn’t love
Isn’t this?

Fazed by disbelief,
Despair in our eyes,
Overwhelmed, discombobulated, mortified
Mouths cast shut by fear and anguish,
No sound is made,
For down we must,
Condemned we frown,
towards the promised land
Of our demise,
Where hope is a ploy, no longer our friend.
	
	Was this really decided?
	Can there be anyone behind this,
	But a sadist father, sick and vile? (Disavowed)

Woe and hatred,
Growing with our disillusionment,
And the liable,
Like a traitorous coward; Afar.
Untouchable,
Arcane and obscure.
So, the invisible hand of anger within, 
Makes us lay our hands onto each other,
As to the surface we struggle,
Touched by the animosity, we respond.
By design?

	For whatever purpose, 
we eschew.
	Greater plan, at our expense, 
we reject
	Merely Divine Entertainment, 
we lament:

333 prayers is a braided meditation for co-imagining a decolonised world and weaving different love languages and cultures of care and solidarity. each sound, frequency, and word were intentionally chosen as a way to amplify different voices manifesting a world that is fuelled by unconditional love, and radical compassion. how can we engage in a deep and brave dialogue across differences while creating the pathway toward inclusivity, freedom and reciprocal care?
the soundscape accompanied “Unbraiding Colonial Dissonance”, a community ritual created to engage with grief, despair, and collective action. Is aims to disrupt oppressive and violent structures rooted in colonialism and capitalism. – fungal9669
“Decolonizing begins by taking the agency to occupy our bodies fully and vest ourselves with the power to reclaim our lives and shared humanity with ritual, which has been a necessary part of humanity since our inception.Rituals have also been gate-kept behind religious authorities and yet they have the power to alchemize and transform our emotions if we replace monotonous motions with refreshed meaning.
During the process of fashioning Unbraiding, facilitators, Aliaa, Gal, Elie, Chris and Xtina researched and explored their own histories and relationship to Islamic, Christian and Jewish rituals, as well as the pagan roots from which these originated. By Unbraiding narratives of difference that has been woven by colonial interests they’ve discovered the common threads of unity. Removing the religious contexts and reclaiming the sanctity of elements, such as water and earth, as well as the modality of somatics to work with the inner landscape, they call on those experiencing disillusionment and heartache to come together to weave in a ritual of purifying our emotions and braiding ourselves together once again.” – x Arias

Welcome back to the third season of The Verso Podcast! To kick off this run of shiny new episodes we’re taking a bit of a detour into the past, to have a closer look at the protestant reformation. This was a turbulent time in history - of tyrants, merchants, popes, peasants and roving priests - when early capitalist forms of power were just beginning to unsettle the old order. 

Together with our host, Eleanor Penny, Andrew Drummond and Eleanor Janega paint a detailed picture of the social and political terrain from which the seeds of the German peasants’ war sprang. In particular, they’ll be considering the role played by a socially radical preacher named Thomas Müntzer - a rival to the more well known Martin Luther - and why exactly the historical record has cast him in such an unfavourable light.
