LipsStick is a Surinamese Rockband from Paramaribo, formed in 2007. As of 2015, the lineup consists of Chavelli Monsanto (vocals; drums), Loëlle Monsanto (guitar), Santosh Benie (guitar), Trestano Rasban (bass) and Lorenzo Bronstein (keyboards). 

The group was formed by sisters Chavelli and Loëlle Monsanto in 2007. They started off as an all female rock band named "The Aphrodites". After some changes in the formation, the name of the band was changed to "LipsStick". They compose all music themselves and the vocal lines are also the result of their own creativity. 

LipsStick released their first single "The Aphrodites" in 2010. 

In 2012 the band wrote the official Pink Ribbon song “I choose to live”, for the lounge of Pink Ribbon Suriname. 

In december 2014 they released their third single "Another Christmas Song". 


They will release their first album in 2015
