those detuned sounds go surprisingly easy on my ears. not unpleasant at all.

Esp. this second half is psychedelic in a most delightful way. Your solo drifts beautifully on all the lovely colored gentle swaying underneath.

Double Kick

It's the 167th edition of KVR's One Synth Challenge and this month was pick a DAW, any DAW, and use a synth included in that DAW. So I went for perhaps the second most obvious option: Ableton Live's Wavetable.

My cat Shouf died a couple of years ago. A dear friend of mine lost his cat this weekend and this brought back many wonderful memories of our mysterious, friendly and wise cat Shouf.

This track has been made using 11 instances of Voltage Modular in which I only used free modules from VM Nucleus, R_Ware x Airwindows and Haaschen bij haslo. My DAW has been Cubase Pro 12.
Third Party free VST FX: SuperMassive, Panagement by Auburn, Wider by Polyverse, LaLA by Analog Obsession and a wonderful new freebie by Amalgamated Signals named Clean Machine which I can recommend to everyone to beef up their mixes (compression, limiter and saturation)

Made with 59 instances of kHs ONE. I wanted to create something evocative of taking my kids to see the sunrise for the first time. It is an incredible experience. The sheer power of the light and warmth hitting them was amazing to see. A true balance of beauty and power. I hope you enjoy  the tune.

Analog Sunrise

This piece came by itself, while making sound with Octasine
and from echoes from my mind.
After that I felt it needed a Taiwanese title.
When trying various names I discovered Wang Ying,
Wang Ying is the name of a composer, but also the name of an Erhu player
and also of another female singer.
