Fresh from our first ever festival and 300th release, we’re catapulting headfirst into another exciting decade and to kick-start the label’s 21st birthday celebrations the Hospital Records family bring a superior 68-track soundtrack ‘We Are 21’.

Compilations don't get much bigger than this; across two high energy mixes we’ve brought in sterling submissions from our ever-growing roster of talent, strong highlights from the last twelve months and most importantly shiny diamond cuts to look out for in 2017. Find 20 brand new tracks from key players such as S.P.Y, Logistics and Anile, and an exclusive Metrik and Fred V & Grafix collaboration. They took time out of their busy DJing schedules to join forces on ‘Tension', encapsulating their love for euphoric dancefloor smashers.

This outstanding double disc billows at the brim with iconic D+B producers such as Noisia, Spectrasoul, Break and High Contrast as well as showcasing music from some of our most exciting new talents, including Urbandawn, Hugh Hardie, and Med School’s Whiney. Fresh off the back of Toronto Is Broken’s official remix of Netsky’s “Snitch ft. Aloe Blacc” (over 200k streams on Spotify) and Deuce & Charger’s late summer anthem “We Are Made Of Light” (“hands-in-the-air vocals and euphoric nods aplenty” – DJ Mag), the two acts round off a huge 2019 with their long-awaited collaboration, “Pressure” (YANA004). These artists already have a strong history of working together; first with D&C featuring on Toronto’s track “Nothingness Lasts Forever” on his acclaimed 2018 Viper Recordings album “You Are (Not) Alone” and more recently with Toronto remixing “We Are Made of Light” (turning “a classic summer D&B ballad into a fall and winter stunner” – YourEDM).

Their new collaboration does not disappoint. Combining Toronto’s atmospheric sound design and instinctive talent for crafting a dancefloor-moving drop with D&C’s ear for melodic hooks and emotive vocals, the tune rides on a strutting synth-powered rhythm track. Risers and percussion flourishes push the production hard as the track builds, driving to match the lyrical intensity.

Arriving just in time for Xmas and NYE raves, “Pressure” pulls off that rare trick of smashing it on club systems, while also having the hooks to sound big on radio and streaming. Firmly establishing both artists as “ones to watch” for 2020, YANA004 drops on 13th December 2019 on all major online stores and streaming platforms.
