Celebrating the sounds of Japan, Viper are proud to present the first ever' Land of the Rising Bass EP'.

Featuring 7 brand new tracks from a variety of Japan’s hottest talent and curated by Futurebound, 'Land of the Rising Bass EP' is packed full of the darkest, dirtiest side of Drum & Bass giving an enviable taste of the club scene in Japan.

Kicking things off, YASUKI & mimiiQ team up for “Chase The Light”, a futuristic record with a funky and pulsing beat that is sure to blow heads clean off.

Next up, DJYOUTH brings a slightly lighter sound to the mix with infectious vocal chops amidst a vibrant soundscape before dropping into pure jump-up infused carnage – “Without You” is as catchy as it is bass face worthy.

Keeping the energy high, Mountain’s “Warn You” is equal parts ominous and enchanting, with a sinister build-up leading to an even more sinister drop. A dancefloor destroyer in every sense, the bar is set incredibly high.

DJ AKi teams up with Yellock on the massive “Destruction & Rebirth”, with mesmerizing vocals drawing the listener in before exploding into a fast-paced, hi-octane drop that will decimate any dancefloor.

Maozon’s “Escape” follows, another dancefloor destroyer made to be played at full blast on the best underground sound systems the world over. The euphoria of classic dancefloor DnB meets a much darker side for another seriously heavyweight tune.

Azumai’s “Guilty Of Murder” then presents a haunting opening, slowly building up in suspense and atmosphere before delivering a sinister sci-fi-esque drop that chills to the core.

Closing out the EP, Seventhrun’s aptly named “Bouncy” delivers blazing, bold energy – a final taste of Japan’s formidable club scene and the perfect end to this hard-hitting release.

With 7 tracks all delivering absolute carnage, 'Land of the Rising Bass EP' is certainly not for the faint of heart. Viper are proud to represent the sounds of our DnB brothers and sisters in Japan and to celebrate the talent of the Viper family the world over!
