Ascendant synth and alt pop queen Laura Dre returns with a new single 'Without Words', co-produced with Joshua Tree-based music producer Robert Harder. Dre's sultry contralto soars above smooth keys and groove with a subject that the LGBTQ community will surely identify with. Included in the single is this, Dre's own 'Bedroom Mix', an instrumental version with a tip of the hat to Nu Disco and the synthwave community that have grown to love both her and the music she has been writing since her debut release in 2021.

Goudzoeker crosses the Atlantic once again to join forces with incredible duo Liquid Modern to deliver this high energy synth pop tune dripping with classic 80s vibes. Starting off with some sparkly FM bells and followed by a retro synthesized flute, before slapping you around the head with that classic CZ bass. All of it topped off with some tight guitar chops and elevated by Kojette’s sweet and silky vocals that propel you straight into the stars.

We live in an era of hyper-nostalgia where everything is a derivative of something from the past.  Our art, music, and film are all directly linked to our memories of the past.

Liquid Modern seeks to imbue the nostalgia of the past with the feelings of remorse and sadness that should accompany them. The raw, airy vocals and smooth electronic sounds created by this husband and wife duo of Lord Kojak and Kojette seek to bring emotion into soulless pop tunes. 



Whether it is their reimagining of classic songs or the forward thinking production of their originals, Liquid Modern will not be complacent in one genre as there is a world of musical styles to explore!

Liquid Modern has recently concentrated on creating downtempo electronic covers of 90s pop tunes and stripping away the facades of pop sensibilities to create a more accurate and sustainable view of the past.  A network of influences blend effortlessly through each and every note.
