In November of 2013, Desert Hearts had their One Year Anniversary. 
They've accomplished an unbelievable amount in that short year of life. 
The three Hearts events I've been to are solidly in a short list of the most fun and best produced events that I've ever been to, with some of the most amazing music and people that I've been lucky enough to be around.

The amazing Ministry of Color stage returned to Youtopia - the San Diego regional burn - this year, and invited me to play on Saturday night. The equipment magically kept going through a drizzle that utterly failed to dampen the enthusiasm of one of the most fun dance floors I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of!

Last Thanksgiving diva and I returned to the MyOasis weekend campout for some outdoor dancing and shenanigans! We were scheduled next to each other so we decided to tag for a while in the middle because we always have so much fun when we do. 
Even though it was barely above freezing we managed to pull people away from the fire a while to get down with us!
