LAGITAGIDA is a super-powered attack instrumental rock band. 
This strange band name "LAGITAGIDA" is an original creation straight from the mind of the bands founders to emphasize sound, nuance, and rhythm. The band name features their stoic attitude, serious atmosphere, and unique sensitivity which blend these elements in perfect balance.
The members are certainly accomplished in their own individual careers. They are influenced by wide range musicians including Frank Zappa, Led Zeppelin, King Crimson, Can, The Mars Volta, Battles, Metallica, Slayer, and Melt-Banana. LAGITAGIDA’s sound is intense. They encompass an intoxicating reflection of all their influences.

In April 2011, their first and long awaited mini-album “CaterpiRhythm” was completed.
The track that best embodies LAGITAGIDA, “Sensya”, is a memorable first song for the band and a great lead track for the album. LAGITAGIDA declared war on the indie rock world with this piece.

LAGITAGIDAは2010年4月頭に結成された。
耳慣れない奇怪なバンド名「ラギタギダ」は、響き、語感、リズムを重視して創られた完全オリジナルの造語であり、ストイックな姿勢とシリアスな空気感、ユニークな感性とハズしのスタイル、これらの要素を絶妙なバランスでブレンドさせるバンドの特徴を言い当てている。
それぞれ個性的なバンドで確実にキャリアを積み上げてきたメンバーは、Frank Zappa、Led Zeppelin、King Crimson、Can、The Mars Volta、Battlesから、Metallica、Slayer、Melt-Bananaまで、多岐にわたる音楽から影響を受けているが、ラギタギダのサウンドは、まるでそれらを丸ごと飲み込んで撒き散らすかのように強烈。
「コンセプトやテーマ、目指す方向性があってバンドが始まったわけではなく、このメンバーだから創る音、出す音が自然と決まってくる」。

2011年4月、待望の初音源となるミニ・アルバム『CaterpiRhythm』が完成。結成後初めて完成した記念すべき1曲であり、バンドを体現するトラック「Sensya」で幕を開けるこの作品によって、ラギタギダがインディー・ロック界に宣戦布告を果たす。

After the great reviews the first album “Knife, Fork and Spoon” have had, an album published by Leo Records, weʼre eager to present you the second recording effort titled “Did you hear something?” Repeating the solid collaboration with Leo Fegin, the album makes use of the special participation of the international trumpet player Luca Aquino.
Result of two in study sessions, totally improvised music, Swedish Mobilia sound feeds on the different influences that starting from contemporary music or rock, free-jazz up to psychedelic music, goes on and on drawing its own way to the confirmation of an original, unique language.
The extraordinary collaboration with Luca Aquino contributes to give the project an additional component: through his lyricism, his ability to feel the music and his natural talent as an improviser, Luca has extended both the borders of our style and our sound world. As a consequence he made harder and more intriguing set the work weʼll be offering you in the right background.
