PHILIPP GRETER is a genius. He is not only the keyboardist of the acclaimed swiss Dub band
DUB SPENCER & TRANCE HILL he is also the producer and mastermind behind the band and responsible for the crisp project ‘William S. Burroughs In Dub’.  Philipp has worked with and for The Young Gods, Yello mastermind Dieter Meier, Lee Scratch Perry, dub-maestro Gaudi,
Tim Bran of Dreadzone amongst many others.

Grammy Award winning producer MARTIN 'YOUTH' GLOVER: highly respected songwriter/producer, sonic pioneer, and founder and bassist of Killing Joke.

As we know that DUB is not any longer a genre specific branding in the world of sound effects and musical vibe with offbeat flavour – it is  growing constantly and ‘Greter Than Dub’ ends in this world and feels like a deconstructed version of minimal tech house inna ambient style. Almost everything on this album is grooving, swinging, vibrating and echoing in delay. It is not only an album for the dancefloor it is also a soundscape travel for the comfortable sofa trip. Liquid Sound Design happily announces the digitally remastered vinyl release of 'Celtic Vedic’ by DUB TREES, the ambient dub collective led by legendary Grammy award winning music producer Martin ‘YOUTH’ Glover.
This 2025 Remaster also includes one BONUS TRACK not on the original pressing.
Youth has assembled a veritable smorgasbord of top musicians and collaborators to weave their labrynthine magic on ‘Celtic Vedic’: Jah Wobble (PiL) on bass, Matt Black/Coldcut (Ninja Tunes) on warped soundscaping duties, Galician Celtic pipe and flute player Daniel Romar, Bollywood contemporary Indian singer Shridevi Keshavan and Elfic Circle (Celtic Bardic harpist Andrea Seki, Fabrice De Graef on bansuri flute and Catherine Dreau on tubaphone). In addition, Andrew Weatherall, Nina Walsh and Mixmaster Morris also made contributions with loops and ideas, all harnessed together with cutting-edge electronica that the Liquid Sound Design team pioneered 20 years ago and still carries on with today.

DUB TREES is one of Youth’s most revered dub projects, it helped define the Liquid Sound Design sound that fans around the world hold dear. This project is the third in a triptych of albums Youth has made with a specific Celtic / Hindu fusion. Starting out with the classic Celtic Cross ‘Hicksville’ 20 years ago, featuring the mythical Simon Posford (Shpongle) through to ‘East of the River Ganges’ (ft Klaus Shultz / Tangerine Dream amongst many others) in 2004 to ‘Celtic Vedic’, released in 2016 on compact disc. This album is a follow up to the seminal ‘Khumba Mela Experience’ released almost 20 years ago and is still regarded as a classic and a trailblazing influential album, defining the emerging Psydub and Chill Out scenes.

Expect pounding basslines overlayed on 3D holographic beats that wrestle with serpentine and psychedelic textures.

Victor Marinov is an esteemed Bulgarian electronic producer with a sound all his own. Having released his debut full length album on the seminal Aleph Zero label as well as producing an EP with Markus Henriksson (Nobodys Home/ Minilogue/ Son Kite, Liquid Sound Design is thrilled to present this single ahead of his upcoming ‘Back to The Forest’ album due this autumn.

Vataff Project has an eclectic experimental sound all his own drawing from elements of ambient, ethno, psychedelic & techno.. all the while mixing electronic beat with traditional Bulgarian and worldwide instruments. His studio is set in the Rodopa mountains in Bulgaria, a place of great spiritual power and home to the legends of Orpheus and a country with a deep mysterious power. The end result bringing profound feelings of ecstasy, dance and ritual which come from the heart, the ancient times, the present and the future.

Evan Bartholomew has been performing electronic music for nearly 20 years as Bluetech, Evan Marc, Invisible Allies (with Kilowatts), and is one of the founders of MicrodoseVR, with Android Jones and the Vision Agency team. He is an internationally recognised touring music producer has released over 27 album/EP and is a master of analogue/modular sound synthesis. His passion for sound design and cutting edge audio exploration shows in everything he touches and transcends the constructs normally associated with an ‘electronic artist’.
