Liquid Sound Design happily announces the digitally remastered vinyl release of 'Celtic Vedic’ by DUB TREES, the ambient dub collective led by legendary Grammy award winning music producer Martin ‘YOUTH’ Glover.
This 2025 Remaster also includes one BONUS TRACK not on the original pressing.
Youth has assembled a veritable smorgasbord of top musicians and collaborators to weave their labrynthine magic on ‘Celtic Vedic’: Jah Wobble (PiL) on bass, Matt Black/Coldcut (Ninja Tunes) on warped soundscaping duties, Galician Celtic pipe and flute player Daniel Romar, Bollywood contemporary Indian singer Shridevi Keshavan and Elfic Circle (Celtic Bardic harpist Andrea Seki, Fabrice De Graef on bansuri flute and Catherine Dreau on tubaphone). In addition, Andrew Weatherall, Nina Walsh and Mixmaster Morris also made contributions with loops and ideas, all harnessed together with cutting-edge electronica that the Liquid Sound Design team pioneered 20 years ago and still carries on with today.

DUB TREES is one of Youth’s most revered dub projects, it helped define the Liquid Sound Design sound that fans around the world hold dear. This project is the third in a triptych of albums Youth has made with a specific Celtic / Hindu fusion. Starting out with the classic Celtic Cross ‘Hicksville’ 20 years ago, featuring the mythical Simon Posford (Shpongle) through to ‘East of the River Ganges’ (ft Klaus Shultz / Tangerine Dream amongst many others) in 2004 to ‘Celtic Vedic’, released in 2016 on compact disc. This album is a follow up to the seminal ‘Khumba Mela Experience’ released almost 20 years ago and is still regarded as a classic and a trailblazing influential album, defining the emerging Psydub and Chill Out scenes.

Supercozi returns to Liquid Sound Design with 2 fresh edits from her stunning 'Cinemadelica' album, made especially for her live set at the almighty DOME - the illustrious Chillout stage at Ozora festival 2025 where she had her debut at this legendary gathering. 'Une Pale Green Dress (Supercozi Ozora Dome edit)' intensifies the original's lazy summer vibes with moody roaring synthesisers and tinged with a spoonful of insanity. 'Vibrasphere (Supercozi Ozora Dome Drumn Edit)' is a surprising liquid Drum and Bass version of one of the album's most popular Psybient tunes. Very much a back to the roots statement as she was fond the genre in the 90's, always mixing spacy D&B into her DJ sets. You can safely say this tune also be a hint for her next full album which she now looking at the direction - Extensional world of ' Cinemadelica ' with Drum and Bass elements. 

‘Dome Edits’ EP contains 2 more delights. In 'Gate 33', you hear her signature -Exotica combined Cinematic Electronica- here in this opening track with an imaginary Japanese space station platform announcement by her. Last but certainly not least, a bass-bouncing slow dance remix of her popular downtempo 'Chill Dome Refugees', a Gamelan filled iconic tune birthed from a collaboration with System 7 and her ex-husband Gus Till in their Bali home in 2005. 

This EP's release date has been set with a purpose and intention, linking to ancient druid St. Brigid's Day which celebrates feminine strength, creativity, and resilience. This day also signifies the sense of renewal as it marks the start of spring as Imbolc. It is no secret that Youth, the labels founder, is an honoured and long practicing Druid. The label also releases compilations honouring the Celtic ‘Wheel of the Year’ with the -LSD Special Selections- curated by label manager Robin Triskele.

This 2 track EP of beautifully crafted productions shows again the delicate fusion of electronic and live instrumentation for which he is widely renown. Victor Marinov is an esteemed Bulgarian electronic producer with a sound all his own. Having released his debut full length album on the seminal Aleph Zero label as well as producing an EP with Markus Henriksson (Nobodys Home/ Minilogue/ Son Kite, Liquid Sound Design is thrilled to present this single ahead of his upcoming ‘Back to The Forest’ album due this autumn.

Vataff Project has an eclectic experimental sound all his own drawing from elements of ambient, ethno, psychedelic & techno.. all the while mixing electronic beat with traditional Bulgarian and worldwide instruments. His studio is set in the Rodopa mountains in Bulgaria, a place of great spiritual power and home to the legends of Orpheus and a country with a deep mysterious power. The end result bringing profound feelings of ecstasy, dance and ritual which come from the heart, the ancient times, the present and the future.

Dub Spencer & Trance Hill is thrilled to announce that an EP will be released on LSD Records with brand new mixes by the UK remix legends Youth and Tim Bran.
“The ‘trance’ in the band name stands for the electronic part of our sound. Although it has hardly ever appeared on a record, it has always been there – much like the original tunes of Trance Plane & Fugu. Now we want to explore this aspect.” 
From the old comes forth the new, and dub merges with electronic dance music, or rather  “trance music”. Tracks like “Trance Plane”, “Fugu” clearly have an up-tempo spirit and extend an invitation to rave. The sound has become even more bassy and psychedelic without losing any of its earthy, organic touch. The four musicians booked the legendary Winterthur Hard Studios to fine-tune their sound, returning with lovely tracks that bubble, echo and groove wonderfully and have the unmistakable Dub Spencer & Trance Hill sound. It’s a truly magical moment, much like the birth of a butterfly.

Evan Bartholomew has been performing electronic music for nearly 20 years as Bluetech, Evan Marc, Invisible Allies (with Kilowatts), and is one of the founders of MicrodoseVR, with Android Jones and the Vision Agency team. He is an internationally recognised touring music producer has released over 27 album/EP and is a master of analogue/modular sound synthesis. His passion for sound design and cutting edge audio exploration shows in everything he touches and transcends the constructs normally associated with an ‘electronic artist’.
