Come Home (a Christmas Song)

This is a song about June, who lost her house in a fire, and only rebuilt her life with the help of her community. There are a lot of Junes in Australia at the moment, and summer is a long way from over. But these terrible times are starting to remind us of who we are. The fires are happening on our doorstep and I have been heartened over the past weeks to watch as people fall over themselves to help any way that they can.

This song is for all the Junes out there, as a reminder to the rest of us that it is within our power to help – but it takes more than just thoughts and prayers.
