Lisa Linsky is a Contemporary Solo Pianist & Composer as well as a voting member of The Recording Academy. 

Her original heart-felt solo piano compositions are a form of “musical storytelling.” Lisa’s music is a regular favorite on iTunes, Pandora, YouTube and most music platforms. Lisa performs internationally, both publicly and privately. 

Lisa’s debut album, entitled "Sanctuary “ was awarded the prestigious Parents Choice Award for its calming effect on children.

“The dusty keys of the old upright piano became my gateway into a world of melody and emotion. As my small four year old hands discovered the black and white keys, I found myself captivated.

Music became my outlet, a way to express the vast array of emotions that I couldn't articulate through words. 

I found solace in composing. From the depths of my heart, I crafted melodies that mirrored the thoughts and emotions swirling within me. It was as if the act of composing allowed me to untangle the complexity of my feelings and weave them into something tangible.

My journey as a composer became tightly intertwined with my journey as a person. Through music I discovered a way to communicate with others. The melodies I created became my voice, transcending the limitations of my hearing loss. 

I allowed my own experiences, joys, and pains to shape the music that flowed from my fingertips. 
As I share my music with others, I hope to touch their hearts and invite them into my world.

I am a 'long suffering' songwriter.  What I 'suffer from' is a lack of ability to learn or play instruments or read music in real time from a staff with notes on it. Initially, I just wrote lyrics that no one would read.  So I began creating a capella vocal melodies that no one would listen to.  
     I learned to drag and drop notes onto a staff with software. . . which helped a little.  Microsoft came out with (for a little while) a software they called a music creator, but was actually just useful as a "chord generator".  That helped a little bit more.  I collaborated with talented musicians. . . and eventually found an incredibly talented professional musician who helped me to 'professionalize' some of my amateur offerings and didn't charge me money.  WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE.  I had over 400 songs that were (according to musicians) "good ideas poorly played."  Then a friend suggested A.I. music.  Six months ago, the A.I. allowed me to create better music than I could manage on my own.  But it was "hit or miss."  A lot of work to make it do what I wanted instead of just letting it create what it wanted, and a lot of just plain luck involved.  THEN. . . within six months, the A.I. site allowed me to "cover my own songs," keeping MY vocal melody and vocal treatment (for the most part anyway) and MY (or my collaborators') instrumental melodies and finding far better and more professional instrumentation for the same melodies.  THAT was heaven.  I am truly blessed, and finally have justification for musical ideas I had as much as twenty five years ago.  Now, you can listen and evaluate whether it truly WAS worth sticking with it for the last thirty years.

Although I never been in the music business, I've been a weekend warrior for years .  From  Country to Rock and all forms of jazz & Gospel. PLEASE........NO MUSIC PROMOTERS !
