We are proud to present Emerson Todd's second release on Upon You. The likable New Zealander who moved to Berlin via Australia seems to spend his nights dreaming of the homelands. The cover and title of release number 046 are both inspired by the original natives of New Zealand. Emerson's specially crafted sound is somewhere in-between jungle and metropolis, wild with details yet still beautifully melodic. The A1 track, "You Got To" proves that a piano can kick you and a lovely little digital-topping can then combine everything into sweet dub-ness. As to be expected, the B-side is also alive with the artists agility and perfectly timed and placed thing and what-nots to turn any dance floor into an intense experience.

Upon You Records has finally reached the big „five-0“  that’s right; 50 ! regular releases old, and to celebrate we’re inviting you into our musical swinger club. While our Upon You artists usually work their way up to a musical orgasm on their own, this time they have doubled up for a nice old gangbang of massive proportions. Gunnar Stiller and Marcus Meinhardt are tag teaming on A1 with their little winner 'Feinherb' and are leaving out the foreplay and get straight down to it. Then we have N!co Stojan and The Cheapers who are finger banging the buttons and levers for 'Railroad' on A2. Flipping the side over we find our Dutch-Danish buddies ONNO and Mathias Mesteno and let the puppets dance to some sweet house beats with the track 'Puppets'.. Finishing of this vinyl masterpiece are Marco Resmann and Ruede Hagelstein with 'Monday', once again proving how tender they can be if necessary, blowing out the last candles with a touch of Saxophone.

Demonstrates the brilliance of Lucidfow as a whole in how they bring the swing within a genre which can be generally conformed to productions which are too calculated and constrained. This track is deep and low slung. Perfect warm up material Deep Invitation using its off kilter percussive arrangement and melancholic chords provides a great ride throughout. Structure is fantastic,creating passages where you can mix and layer effortlessly which is essential quality I look for in all productions Paul Lorraine showcases an absolute corker of a remix. Low slung locked grooves marinated in bubbling fx and bass stabbs. Paul has been a great signing to the Lucidflow stable, and he certainly demonstrates why here Nadja's remix definitely focuses on the marriage between dark and light passage of sounds. Crazy dark bongo styled rhythms begin this journey until the breakdown which opens up to blissful tones and great spoken word samples and carries on throughout the whole track CDT's take on drunken divine would have to be the most stripped back affair out of the lot at first. Then out of nowhere he creates a broken beat masterpiece with juggling drum patterns and swirling melodies. Great work here. I think they are all equally great productions, but if I had to pick one track that would have to be Drunken Divine.
