The next Girlcast presents LEVS 🌹

LEVS are Colombia born, raised in Spain – and Belgium based. Working as DJ’s, producers and label owners, these twins have taken their unique take on fast paced, power packed Techno to the next level. At age 16, Erika and Laura got the first taste of music production and it wasn’t before long that they also wanted to bring that music to a wider audience. A few months later, they managed to get their first DJ equipment. Fast forward to their first big break, that came when they landed a residency at the Hard Rock Hotel on Ibiza, where they learned the ropes during the 6 hour sets they performed. It got them noticed by that other institute on the White Island: Amnesia, which lead them towards the deeper, darker sounds of Underground Techno. The experience propelled them on an international DJ career, frequently traveling between Spain, Italy and Belgium. At the same time, they were perfecting their producing skills, which resulted in their first EP titled “Inner Voices” and the follow-up “Independencia Rechazada”. As time progressed, their sound morphed almost organically into a more raw, rough and faster kind of Techno. Their taste broadened as well, incorporating breakbeats, atmospheric and darker sounds. The result was their EP “Unbroken View”, followed by “Pain as Experience” and “The Way I Are”, which they released on their own Conscious Mind imprint.

EASTEL is passionate about electronic music, a universe that gives a feeling of freedom, both physical and philosophical. In 2015, she decided to cultivate her passion as a means of expression and immersed herself in composition.

EASTEL became a DJ, producer, live performer and founded the label @HEARTSWHISPERS records in 2020.
She creates a unique style, mixing her emotions and inspirations, sometimes using her own voice, on an industrial techno.

As a DJ, she plays in many emblematic clubs such as Concrete, the Rex club in Paris or the Suicide Circus in Berlin and the Monasterio in Moscow. Not to mention her numerous shows in Eastern Europe and Asia with artists such as CLOUDS, Perc, AnD and SNTS...

During the confinement, EASTEL participated in the TV show The United Stream on Arte with Manu le Malin and performed twice at HÖR Berlin.

She also produced a remix for Paula Temple on Noise Manifesto and produced other tracks on Hard Vision, Occult Rhythms, Insane Industry, HARDCODE, Grounded.

As artistic director of the label HEART'S WHISPERS, she invites her musical favorites and organizes label nights at Glazart in Paris.

HEART'S WHISPERS records since April 2020, is 20 EPS, 9 Various, 19 Podcasts, 11 Singles, 5 Premieres, 7 Edits and 4 label nights.
